Great Vibe

The food was good (not great) The service was good (not great) The atmosphere and interior decor were great. I consider myself a tough critique, I've had better food and service, but the place looked great and was filled with young beautiful people who wanted to be seen. HOWEVER, make sure... read more

I've been to Cecconi's several times over the years. It's always super busy each time I go. It's a bit of an odd bar scene with well dressed, older singles hanging about making eye contact, trying to meet. Definitely not my scene, nor why I go to restaurants. That said the staff is unerringly pleasant from the hosts to the... More

This place just resonates with beautiful people, delicious food in a great atmosphere! The staff is talented and knowledgeable with a keen sense of guiding you through the menu and making great great recommendations. If you're a sourpuss and like things real quiet, this is not the place for you, because the vibe at Cecconi's is we love life.

Had a great time here for brunch and really enjoyed the food. Arrived around 11:00 am and by the time we left (12:45 pm-ish) it became very crowed and loud. The atmosphere turned from a comfortable and quite meal into a social club filled with people who are definitely too cool for brunch.

We visited Cecconi's on a Monday night with a friend who had a medallion to get us half price meals. We were not disappointed with paying half price and would have been happy paying full price as the food was amazing. The service was ok, our waiter was lovely, but the front of house staff were quite snooty. But I... More

I was able to make online reservations via opentable.com which was super easy! When we arrived, our car was valet parked and we were table to a very beautiful spot for dinner. The food was really delicious and we had a wonderful experience. The only downside was that my friend is allergic to gluten and they were out of GF... More

Booked this place online after it was recommended by a LA local I met In Africa last year and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Occasionally in LA the "Italian" food served by some restaurants is of poor standard, but this place shone for fresh flavours mixed with traditional Italian cooking with a modern twist. Loved it.

My wife and I really wanted to love this place, and were sadly disappointed. We have heard great things about the food and ambience/atmosphere, but we walked away feeling a bit underwhelmed, and unlikely to be back soon. We arranged dinner reservations through OpenTable and I confirmed personally with the hostess we were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. When... More

OK - so the service needs some major improvements but you simply cannot suggest that the food in Cecconi's is simply not to die for. The Black truffle pasta is a personal favorite. The ambience in the evening is also something special and very glamourous. It is a wonderful experience and worth putting your lipstick and heels on for.

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
