Perfectly awesome. I can unabashedly say, without a trace of irony, that this is my new favorite restaurant in the city. Superb. A great evening starts when you come in, up the stairs into the courtyard, the ambience is immediately striking. It's not tripping over itself trying to be cool. It just is. The staff are all warm & friendly... More

Perfect after work go-to place for a glass of wine, beer, with friends or solo. I've driven by many times not knowing it was there. Cute front section with comfy seating along the sidewalk (not street level, so you can enjoy the elevated view). Out back there's some more seating, they had trivia night when we stopped in (Wednesday). Looks... More

I was very pleased. Went on a Wednesday evening, Trivia Night! Met a group on the patio for dinner and drinks. This was my first time while in LA. Great place for groups and or couples. Dining available on the patio as well as inside. Food is amazing! Met the owner, Chris.....great guy! Will definitely be back. I suggest making... More

There's so much to love about Vinoteque on Melrose! The tapas were excellent and the wine selection was extensive. Ryan, the owner and sommelier, was incredibly helpful and hospitable, which made our evening more memorable. His suggestions of wine were spot on. We especially liked sitting in their quaint courtyard patio. Bonus, they also have free Wifi. If you enjoy... More

Vinoteque is a great find - a pretty oasis amid the craziness on Melrose. The food is very good and always fresh and imaginative. The wine options are really wonderful. We've spent many wonderful evenings enjoying great food, wine, and conversation in the courtyard of Vinoteque. Definitely worth a visit.

The last thing you could be looking for on Melrose Avenue in L.A. is a courtyard with a restaurant attached. It shouldn't be the last thing you'd find, but I say that because L.A. is a constant surprise: little gems tucked into improbable corners, food that plays to an adventurous palate, an under appreciated foodie's delight, with remarkable settings that... Between the three of us we tried the lamb meatballs, fried artichoke hearts, white bean ragout, glazed pork belly and sliders. All were prepared just right and extremely tasty. They also carry a very good selection of wine and beer. Sit out on the patio if it is available.
