$70 bucks for two pizzas and a bowl of pasta. Both were good, and service was okay, but not a standout. Located in a large loft-like space with an open view to the prep kitchen, Bottega Louie has a hip, happening vibe. While the food was solid (I had the orrechiete pasta) and they had an impressive looking dessert/macarron selection,... More

One of the best nights I had in a while... Downtown at Bottega Louie... Good friends, food, desert and service! What more can you ask for... I would give it a try for sure.

Bottega Louie's menu is a mixture of many different cuisines. This would be a red flag in many establishments but not here: everything on the menu is well-prepared and quite good. The service is a little uneven, but everything arrives more or less when one expects it. The adjoining pastry shop is a good option if nothing on the desert... More

This restaurant has something for everyone. Great salads, wonderful wood fired pizza, delectable Italian food, delicious pastries and macaroons. Every time we come to LA we stop at this restaurant and bring macaroons to our friends. The service is always impeccable and timely. My only complaint is that the restaurant is very open so it is a louder establishment. Great... More

Second time having brunch here, love the breakfast ravioli dish. Service is prompt and courteous, prices are fair, coffee is good...what more can you ask for?!

Our concierge recommended this restaurant/bakery to my wife and I for weekend brunch on a Saturday morning. We had smoked salmon and the Italian scramble. Both were very filling and reasonably priced for such a high-end establishment, which is rare. They were also nice enough to split a Bloody Mary between the two of us since like it prepared a... Bottega Louie isn't the cheapest place you'll find in downtown LA, but it's worth it. The food is good and every portion is large. The bartenders are great and their cocktail list is great; everyone in our group loved their specialty drinks. The one downside is the dining room itself. The high ceilings make it a little hard to hear... More

We had a Sunday brunch here. They don't take reservations, but their website tells it true--they can seat a lot of people and the wait is not long at all. The one caveat: I have never been in an eatery that was this frustratingly noisy--the dining hall was beautiful, but about the liveliest place acoustically, that I have ever eaten.... More

Not cheap but worth every bite. Went w/ our son who lives in LA (we were visiting). Got the sense this was very much a locals place though not too far from main downtown attractions. Short 10-15 minute wait on a Sunday which allowed us to get Bellini's at the bar. They were pouring them and Mimosa's like there was... More
