Bottega Louie Restaurant is a great place if you're not on a budget. The food is eclectic and interesting. Loved the portobello fries and the crab beignets. The sweet beignets were pretty remarkable too! We shared the shrimp and pasta dish and a salad. The food is wonderful, but beware, It could easily be a budget buster. The bakery at... More

This is an excellent restaurant! Very open dining and food prep areas. There's even a pastry counter as soon as you come into the restaurant. Menu selections were good and the food was tasty! The open environment means that sound will bounce and travel all over the restaurant. Getting used to a packed house, which is often, means that you'll... More

This restaurant/pastry shop/hot spot is jammed and jamming for breakfast in downtown LA. We sat at the bar to avoid the long wait for a table and I was immediately impressed that they were pouring Veuve Cliquot for the Bellini that I ordered. Juices were fresh-squeezed in front of us - fresh fodder for a maxed out list of exotic... More

We loved this place so much we went back twice in less than a week! The food was absolutely amazing. Such a modern classic look to the place and always packed with people. They have a bakery as well which does an assortment of pastries that were mouthwatering. First place I would go back to whenever visiting LA again.

Excellent restaurant located in downtown LA. One of the few places open past 10pm during the weekdays, we were surprised at first to see how busy it was at 10pm on tues eve but now we know why! Fantastic food and great selection to choose from, this is fine dining so therefore the price follows suit but complete value for... More

Not the place for a romantic dinner for 2 due to all the action taking place in here. If you are looking for excellent food and service then this is the place to go. Its loud and its noisy but the atmosphere is what makes the place tick. Well done for bringing the Downtown area alive.

We live on the East Coast, but visit at least twice every stay. The space is airy and bright, and the food is great. There's also a pastry shop where you can get treats to go. The prices are reasonable for the quality. The manager told me they plan to open a branch in Chicago soon. I tried to convince... More

Last week, while in LA, a friend and I stopped at Bottega Louie to see if we could get a table. It was a busy Wednesday night, but we were seated within a half hour. The atmosphere is wonderful; while sitting in the bar are, sipping wine, we enjoyed viewing the high, very high ceilings and lighting, viewed the open... More

We loved this place! Went for a late dinner. The place was rocking and rolling. Very hip and cool. The atmosphere is very energetic and loud. Great place to meet friends. Food was terrific. Our server was spot on. The wine selection was quite good. We passed on desert because they have a fabulous confection shop with delicious candies and... More

It's noisy and you have to wait for a bit, but the ambiance is great and the food, specially the pizzas, too. Perfect to enjoy dinner with friends!
