Excellent restaurant located in downtown LA. One of the few places open past 10pm during the weekdays, we were surprised at first to see how busy it was at 10pm on tues eve but now we know why! Fantastic food and great selection to choose from, this is fine dining so therefore the price follows suit but complete value for... More

Not the place for a romantic dinner for 2 due to all the action taking place in here. If you are looking for excellent food and service then this is the place to go. Its loud and its noisy but the atmosphere is what makes the place tick. Well done for bringing the Downtown area alive.

We live on the East Coast, but visit at least twice every stay. The space is airy and bright, and the food is great. There's also a pastry shop where you can get treats to go. The prices are reasonable for the quality. The manager told me they plan to open a branch in Chicago soon. I tried to convince... More

Last week, while in LA, a friend and I stopped at Bottega Louie to see if we could get a table. It was a busy Wednesday night, but we were seated within a half hour. The atmosphere is wonderful; while sitting in the bar are, sipping wine, we enjoyed viewing the high, very high ceilings and lighting, viewed the open... More

We loved this place! Went for a late dinner. The place was rocking and rolling. Very hip and cool. The atmosphere is very energetic and loud. Great place to meet friends. Food was terrific. Our server was spot on. The wine selection was quite good. We passed on desert because they have a fabulous confection shop with delicious candies and... More

It's noisy and you have to wait for a bit, but the ambiance is great and the food, specially the pizzas, too. Perfect to enjoy dinner with friends!

We arrived at 8.45 pm for dinner on a Friday evening. We were told it's a 1 hour 45 min wait. That didn't put us off and they seated us within an hour. It was worth the wait. Noisy but great fun! Pizzas were perfect and pastas awesome. Deserts looked outstanding but we've had better.

We went just for dessert. The macaroons are the best though they are on the expensive side but worth the money. My favorite flavor was the mango. I love mangoes! A good place to stop to grab some dessert.

We had visited this place a few times and this time took out-of-town guests. Sat at a circular table. All 8 of us ordered French onion soup as starter. The server stayed at one spot and slid hot bowls of soup halfway across table and guests had to reach over to slide the soup rest of the way toward themselves.... More

I've been here several times and every time is wonderful. The problem is what to choose! As a vegetarian the choices are limited but there is still plenty to choose from. And of course the main attraction here are the desserts. Last time I got the Affogato and it was incredible. Of course the macarons are a must. The atmosphere... More
