what a great restaurant. Kudos to the chefs for making a unique combination of flavours and serving delicacy parts of an animal. I ordered the pig ears, head, and belly sliders wow I words can't even describe how amazing my dinner was. The staff also very friendly my waiter helped me pick a proper drink to compliment my meal. Very... More

After our meal we were trying to figure out where in our top 10 meals this belongs. It certainly didn't hurt our perception of the experience when Tim Love strolled in for dinner. The generally small plates encourages you to try multiple dishes. - BBQ pork belly sandwiches topped with slaw got the meal started in the right direction -... More

So much great food in so many forms! I loved it, we got the hamachi tostada and the pig ears and they were both amazing. I especially enjoyed the "cheesecake"

First, I have to say that the food is absolutely, 100% on point. There are a lot of restaurants and "gastropubs" in LA trying to be something great and charging like it, but not measuring up. Animal provided one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. I had veal brain, incredible flavor and texture, presented in a... More

If you don't eat meat then you won't like Animal. I found it excellent. The restaurant was the venue for a family wedding so the food was delivered to the table in share fashion.. The selection included, waygu carpaccio, seared tuna, fried pigs ear (my favorite), lamb shank ragu, pork spare ribs and this is what I can remember. I... More

This was one of the best meals we had in three weeks in California - it is incredible inventive and delicious food. I am still dreaming about the corn! Service also excellent.

Animal has a big reputation and it is well deserved. Incredibly inventive food, they use all of the animal to create their dishes. Service was very friendly and informative and had a great vibe. I had the Pig Ears and it was amazing. Followed by delicious soft shell crab and an amazing chocolate/bacon dessert.

Three of us ate here early evening of September 2nd . I suppose it's the cool thing not to have a sign up outside, but it just makes it more difficult to find. The wife was looking forward to it after seeing the restaurant on Diners, Drive-in's & Dives. Nice layout inside but noisy. Service was excellent. Fast. Food mostly... More

Ate here last week and it was amazing! The waiter knew his stuff and guided us on the menu and wine, making some great choices for us. We had the hamachi tosada, white nectarine salad, bone marrow, ribs, pigs ears and two of the desserts. When you go you MUST order the hamachi tosada, bone marrow & pigs ears!! If... More
