Went there with my husband, all excited to finally have some "Austrian/Suisse" food again. We arrived and were nicely greeted. We where asked to where we are from and I would think that if a waitress finds out that you are from the country that the food is based on you would have a short nice conversation, but it was... We had a variety of dishes and all was very good. Some items on the plate were not as warm as others, though all was tasty. The beer was also a plus and the pretzel appetizer was well received by all. Service was good and timely. The portions were very ample, so much so as there was no room left... More

Worst service I have had in years. Food was OK but overpriced. Sewage smell in the dining room, crudely covered by the waiter with overwhelming perfume spray that cooked us. Won't go back.

I really enjoy this place and eat here every month or so. You can order anything on the menu and expect to be satisfied if not thoroughly excited about the food. Excellent beers too. The owners are hockey enthusiasts so you can expect to watch the King's on a wall projected TV if they are playing - no sound though... More

I live in Switzerland so comparison tough. The good fist: service was Fast but place pretty empty. Ordered the Zuercher Geschneltzte with roestli. It was ok. Had an Erdinger beer. Very good but hard to miss. Was hoping for more atmosphere but found something more like a chain restaurant feeling. Would be nice if Swiss people present. Normally the chef... More

Spotted Chalet Edelweiss in Westchester where we could park for free in back and have a cold drink before heading to LAX to pick up an arriving passenger. Enjoyed a cold German beer and large pretzel on the patio (a little noisy due to traffic on Sepulveda). Also, some delicious soup. Will return for a complete meal when we have... More

This restaurant at the corner of Sepulveda and La Tijera serves German food (schnitzel), Swiss (fondue) and also pizza. The menu is quite eclectic. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was quite good, prices reasonable. The server suggested jäger schnitzel and it was delicious. It came with spätzli and red cabbage salad.

Stopped by this restaurant on Sepulveda Blvd during a break in my conference. Interesting Tyrolean decor; friendly, attentive waitress. Had the barley beef soup and wurst salad, which was a tasty collection of cold knockwurst (I think), cheese, egg and greens. Overall, a nice lunch, almost too much for one sitting. Lunch with lemonade and tax was about $24, before... More

This is a fun place to go, especially if you have a long layover between flights at LAX, as it's only about a 5 minute drive from the airport, and maybe a 10 minute walk? I would have never known this place existed, except someone we knew told us about it. Otherwise, you could drive past it a thousand times... More

I'll start off by saying that I have never been to Switzerland. Germany, yes, several times, but never Switzerland. First of all, the menu is fantastic. Many places have one or two regional dishes to justify it being called German or Swiss, but this place was legit. I had the Rahm Schnitzel, which was up there with what I've had... More
