Much More than Bones

Yes, this is a Bar B Q but so much more. Creative dishes from a take on Asian duck to fresh mussels with chorizo, from my favorite burger ANYWHERE (The Southwest Patty Melt) to fine steaks, Boneyard has it all!

My sister and I decided to come here for lunch after a long day of shopping. We've both been told, this place is quite good and wanted to see for ourselves. The location is convenient and easy to access, being right on Ventura Blvd. The inside is cozy and rustic and you have a choice to eat in the dining... More

One of the best spots I've ever ate. Amazing bbq! Constantly friendly, excellent food that melts in your mouth and strong drinks. They have indoor & outdoor seating as well as a bar. The decor is modern and has cool pictures of skulls painted on the walls. The food comes quick and they have the largest list of ales and... More

I don't know why I had not come here before. The BBQ here is some of the best I have tried anywhere in the U.S. The meats are perfectly cooked, full of flavor and great to share. Be sure to try the bacon sticks as a starter. The only complain I would have is that they do not have sweet... More

Took my family there for a birthday celebration. There were five of us. Except for the brisket which was melt in your mouth outstanding, everything else was nothing to write home about. I also thought everything was overpriced.

I love this restaurant and have been here many times. The food is so delicious I've had several different things on the menu. Patty melt! Yummmm!! They have a great beer selection! I would recommend anyone to go here and I will continue to go whenever I get chances to.

The crowed was not in yet at 6 pm Saturday evening. There is an inside seating and kind of outside covered/ in closed patios eating ,we chose the second one. The Decor is simple and practical, nothing fancy, but odd painting of Skeleton figures on the walls! The Menu was kind of different, and we were not sure what to... More

Only went there once, and was alittle worried cause I wanted some ribs, but not average goopy ribs, I wanted original delisious smoked yummy ribs. I FOUND THEM. my husband and I orderd some craft coctails from Josh, the super friendly and cute bartender, which were served fast and ready to chug, we ordered some cute apps for starters....some little beef... Besides a full menu that's BBQ it's very diverse and last night tried the crab cake and wonderful bone in rib eye steak. I've had their wonderful BBQ which is amazing and offered dry rub or with sauce (try the ribs ) but this steak matches alongside the fanciest steak places in town. Asparagus was perfectly cooked. My companion had... More

We visited last week with local friends and loved it. 42 beers on tap (yes 42!), we all choose a variety of their ribs which were all finished off very quickly - my 7 year old daughter managed a half rack to herself - believe me this is high praise! If visiting Universal, I would also recommend dropping in on... More
