A fantastic night out

Came here to celebrate a birthday...was not expecting really good food because it's sort of a rocker place with a patio that's 420 friendly. Ordered Steak and I had the BEST STEAK! Was happily surprise. In line with the STK, Mortons & Del Friscoes! Definitely coming back for more good food....great steak!

Let me start by saying we went on a busy Friday night. There was plenty staff available to serve though which makes it hard to understand why everything took so long and there were mistakes. We were charged $10 each for entry (given 2 tokens each for drinks but it was not explained these had to be certain kinds of... More

My OH promised to take me here on our visit to LA. He's been several times before and always raved about it, so naturally I wanted to see what the fuss was about! It was just as I expected, dark and cavernous, with just the right amount of memorabilia dotted about. We only had time for a couple of beers,... More

I've lived in Hollywood. for 25 years and had never been past the patio at this famous Rock'n'Roll legendary bar/restaurant but recently went there for dinner... everyone is well aware of the historical exploits of nearly every single heavy metal or rock icon within these walls, and most people will eventually mention the decent and generous drinks, but nobody had... Ever since the video for November Rain by Guns n Roses came out, I have wanted to visit the Rainbow. I’d always wondered about the Sunset Strip having grown up on rock music and hair bands but that video made me want to go even more. I finally got my wish in January 2014 (the review wouldn't let me choose... More

As a regular patron, it's a home away from home where friends and family congregate. Wild with great food and music. Always fun. Menu ranges from chicken wings to the most fabulous lobster tails you've ever tasted at reasonable prices.

This was a must see place for me. If your in LA and on Sunset Boulevard then drop in for a beer. Its utterly crammed with rock legends guitars, drums, photos and tonnes more. It makes The Hard Rock Cafe look like a childs drawing, this is the real mcCoy. If you boil it down to what it is, its... More

You can't come here and not be impressed by its rock credentials. The place is covered with photos of famous regulars, both past and present. The drinks are standard, but the food is great and the service has loads of rock n roll attitude. I can't get enough - but I'm a huge fan of all it stands for!

We had a reservation - we had been the day before for both lunch and an interview. It took 40 minutes before anyone came to the table after we were seated. We kept asking if we could order and we kept getting told ok they are coming soon, and no one came. Managed to get an order in an hour... More
