Cool but no cheap

Nice place with great music! If you want to have a good time you definitely should go there. Just don't go if you are in a tight budget.

Loved being here, was such a big thing for me to go here as it plays such a big role in the musical side of life. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was magical. Enjoyed seeing all the amazing photos and objects that where around. Will go back again over and over, every time I'm in America.

Always wanted to visit here and sadly it's taken me too long to get here. Didn't disappoint - walked in and Motley Crue was playing on the jukebox, followed by Van Halen and then GnR. Perfect! Had a nice rack of ribs and a few beers whilst enjoying the music and taking in the RnR history associated with the place,... More

We have visited twice once in 2013 and 2015 but still not bumped into the Legend Lemmy but sat at bar where he sits. Met loads of interesting people there a Poet, record producer and Lemmys mate Scotty. Had a meal it was fantastic and very reasonable price. Viewed the Lair of the Hollywood Vampires that was just the nuts.... More

The pizza was good and the atmosphere was typical rock hangout. A cool place with lots of memorabilia on the walls. Ron Jeremy seems to have the most pictures on the wall, hmmmm. Trashy waitresses with an attitude if that is your thing.

Great bar, mostly rock music played, and this is known for a bit of celeb spotting ! Was recommended to us for the pizzas, and was definitely not disappointed, they were absolutely amazing, will be back there next visit

I've been to the Rainbow more times than I care to admit, always because someone else chose the evening's drinking venue. It's noisy. The patio is smoky. The interior is dilapidated. Drinks are weak. That includes fountain sodas. Seriously, how did you screw up my Diet Coke? Tap selection is weak; I always wind up drinking a bottled Amstel Light... More

We absolutely had to go. The Sunset Strip was on our must see list for a family vacation! My husband and I are both life long musicians and he had never been there. I'd been many years ago, but never stopped in at the Rainbow. I'm glad we did! Even our 5-year-old loved it! The burgers are INSANE! The entire... More

Love the atmosphere. cozy open fire, christmas tree lights, cozy booths and loads of rock memorabilia. The Pizza is great and so are the steaks. The service is good and after 11 the place turns into an aftershow hangout. 80s rock stars, wrestlers and old Hollywood stars all mingle. Lemmy from Motorhead is always on the Bandit.

My husband and I went to the Rainbow for dinner. The ambiance is fun, especially if you love rock 'n roll history - everyone who is anyone in the rock 'n roll world has been there! The pizza was pretty good, but a little whimmpy. The bathroom was dirty. The Rainbow is actually more of an after party hangout for... More
