I go here often for lunch. There are reasonably prices lunch options and fixed priced menus for two. My favorite thing is the Chilean sea bass -- melts in your mouth amazing -- but it is on the pricier side. The chicken and pork belly bowls are also heavenly with egg, pickled onions, and toasted garlic. Those are staples. I... More

I went with my family (3 children: 11,9 and 4)...service was VERY POOR! My children selected their dishes (not from the children menu) and the waitress did not explain that the dishes they were choosing were hot and spicy...they could not eat, we had to ask for water and more water. The waitress could have told which dishes were spicy,... More

Great Thai food. Shared a prix fixe tasting dinner with a former student and friend. Five courses with calamari, chicken, salad, potstickers, even fried coconut donuts for dessert. And the service was very attentive without being obtrusive. Eclectic clientele, which added to the interest and enjoyment. Ceiling about thirty feet high made for a temple-like atmosphere. Excellent all around. Not... More

The only issue is the noise which deters from the quality of experience, for me at least. It is a huge restaurant, comprised of different sitting areas: interior dining rooms, covered and outside terraces. Very interesting and quite rich Asian decor. Our waitress was super helpful in choosing dishes for our tasting menu (there were four of us) and most... More

We did the prix fixe menu so had 3 courses for $15.95 and it was excellent food, we struggled to finish the dessert as we aren't used to American portion sizes! The warm choc dessert was lovely.

This is a go to restaurant for me especially for a leisurely business meal. The tasting menu is must as it helps refine your choices and is an excellent way to check our a great selection of items from the menu. The decor is mostly in a Thai style. The upper level has rows of statues staring down at you... More

Was a little leary with the location but once inside - decor was great - and we all had variety of their food to sample with each other - especially good was the Thai Chicken Wings and also as someone else mentioned here - reason I got it was the Chicken Caramel - everyone thought the food was delicious and... Growing up in Vancouver, I've had a long love for asian fusion cuisine made with fresh ingredients and interesting flavour combinations. However, that love is not always returned and I've eaten some fairly mediocre meals in my team. RockSugar has never disappointed me. Over the past couple of years, I've eaten here maybe a dozen times, and I always make... More

This place advertises itself as "pan-asian", which means it hasn't decided what it wants to be and so doesn't do any of it well. The food is, to put it gently, forgetable and the service is terrible. We would have had better luck finding our waiter on a milk carton and it became a running gag at our table when... More

The meal I had with a group of friends at Rock Sugar was absolutely perfect. It was perfect for all, even me, the vegan. The cocktails were sublime, and the food couldn't have been better. If you visit Los Angeles, I highly recommend Rock Sugar. A perfect place to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday.
