Satisfactory, not extraordinary..

The restaurant can be easily missed as the signage is so small and the door is even harder to find! The place is really dark and could do with some extra lighting. The food and service were ok but nothing out of this world and certainly not memorable. I think a lot of the hype is because of the... read more

If you're looking for a place for a large group this is not the restaurant! They do not split checks, our waitress was hard to find, and took for ever to pay! The food was good though and atmosphere was nice! Recommend for a couple! On a side note be prepared to walk past the homeless. This was a shock to... More

We took a group of ten to Beso. We met at 6:30, and shortly after ordered. We told the waiter Jessie that we had tickets to Motown at the Pantages, and needed to be out of the restaurant by 7:45pm. He assured us that would be no problem. And the restaurant was about half full. At 7:30, we began pressing... More

Food is very good. Pork chops are my favorite. I love the portion sizes. You will not leave starving and right into a hamburger place.

Off course Desperate housewife is one of my favorite serial tv and off course I came b'coz of Eva longoria and wanna try latin fusion dishes. It is located in hollywood and vineland, one block after passing Katsuya, you could easily miss this restaurant, I hardly find the front door. The hostess were friendly and show us our table, the... People rave about this place, but I don't understand it. It's a pretty space, and it's owned by Eva Longoria, but the food wasn't anything special. The sangria, which was supposed to be incredible wasn't. There's such great Mexican and Latin cuisine in Los Angeles, there are much better options.

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet dinner at Beso before seeing a show at the Pantages. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and enthusiastic (but not very helpful in describing dishes) and our service was timely. The food was pricey, but our meats were perfectly prepared and juicy, and the flavors had enough originality to warrant the few extra dollars.... More

Came here with the family before watching Wicked. I have a family of 6 which means a lot of different dishes. I'll just review 2 plates and dessert but first let me say that all of the food was delicious and so flavorful. And the presentation was great. I got the Jidori chicken and let me tell you that this... More

Chose this restaurant because of the Eva Longoria connection, and whilst its likely merely a business investment for her, it is nonetheless and lovely environment but certainly not fine dining if that is what you're looking for. The upstairs was booked for a rowdy Christmas function but otherwise its a nice restaurant options for couples and friends. PROS - AMEX... More

We had a most pleasant experience at Beso Restaurant. We were first asked when seated if we were using a Groupon or other type of coupon. We were not, but that piqued our curiosity so we wanted to know why they asked. According to our waiter, if using a Groupon (or similar coupon) then you do not receive a "full... More

Staying in Hollywood

Neighborhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
