This is a little hole in the wall family owned spot in an up and coming neighborhood but I assure you the croissants are some of the best in LA. It's a great community spot.

I have been going to this little jem for many years, first having read a review in the LA times. I have never gotten anything here that is not delicious. First visit two weeks ago. This is an excellent bakery that also serves a limited number of egg dishes. The pastries are as good as I've had anywhere. The atmosphere isn't: maybe seating inside for 3-4 people. We sat outside on the sidewalk which was ok. It is on Pico which is a busy street. You go to this place... More

A good temple to worship the Holy Croissant. This is it! (Everytime I go there I'm half expecting to be greeted by a dominatrix with whip in hand... "Welcome to La Maison du Pain!" (i mean, i know 'pain' means 'bread' in french but still...)
