This place is not a one size fits all kind of club, you come here and you better dress nice ( unless you're wealthy). The drinks are okay, the food is okay, but its not all about that. It's about dancing and being in a unique environment. Great for celebrations and birthdays, if you're into the club scene. Not recommended... More

I really wanted to love this place since the venue itself is super cool. However, there were too many strange annoying aspects: 1) it is VERY dark inside, I mean very dark( you had better have the flashlight app to read the menu) 2) they had a wonderful jazz combo playing on an elevated stage, but there is almost nowhere... We came here for an early dinner and drinks before a show at the Wiltern. We were given a cozy booth in a quiet corner. We saw that they had fantastic happy hour specials (40% off certain drinks, highly discounted prices on certain menu items), so we both ordered fancy cocktails. For dinner my husband went with the steak and... More

This is, I suppose, one of the "in" places in downtown LA. it's a 3 story basement private coal fired electricity generating power plant, long disused, until a business genius decided to make it into as weird a club that he could. This includes many screens with strange, animated films. The patrons dress for the occasion. We had a great... More

We recently held a event at The Edison and it was one of the most stunning parties I've had the privilege to attend. The staff is incredible and the location is extraordinary! I cannot say enough good things about our experience there. From the food, to the decor to the music. Wonderful! I highly recommend!

My friends and enjoyed everything about the Edison. The 20s theme was clear and done well. 3 story brick building lit by bulbs around lounge and chandelier in staircase. Lots of seating , big bar, large mirrors , silent films projected on walls, shadow animation on wall , burlesque dancers on stage, and a fairy distributing absinthe vodka in tiny... More

Beautiful décor and atmosphere. Very unique. It is set up as a lounge bar with a huge screen tv playing silent movies and 1920's music. Later in the night the music changes to club music and the place gets very crowded. The seating is limited so most of the crow is just standing or walking around. The drinks are pricey... More

Step in off of a side alley into the old Edison building in downtown, Los Angelos for a very unique cocktail lounge. There is food, but there is a limited menu. It is a place to meet after work, or take friends for a drink before dinner. It is absolutely beautiful inside. It is well worth going just to see... More

try and get a table near the stage on Saturdays to see the show. Drinks and food are a little pricy but good

My wife, daughter and I had heard how good this place is before we left New Zealand and while on vacation we just had to dress up and go into downtown Los Angeles to experience 1920's style and charm that this historic speakeasy offers. We were certainly not disappointed. The old electric company building is fabulous, and is beautifully done... More
