Great place to entertain clients! They were impressed. The food was superb, the service quick and attentive. Possibly the best Sushi we've had anywhere. Selections were plentiful and unique; delicious!! Will definitely return!!

Great food and nice service. We would come again, a heads up though, they say the Studio City restaurant is the best. We would recommend this one, OK atmosphere or we would have rated it a 5 Star.

Katsuya's location at LA Live is really convenient. Service was very friendly and good, although our poor waitress had far too many tables for a busy Thursday night. It was incredibly noisy but we knew it would be energetic so we didn't mind too much. Lots of obnoxious and loud people at the bar. Food was good, but I have... More

Came with a group of 10 and they handled us with no problem (we had reservations). Wonderful experience, great food and the service was even better. There are several Katsuya but this is the original and by most accounts the best.

This place is very popular and hopping all the time. Very noisy atmosphere, so not necessarily the place to take a date if you want quiet and romantic. The food is very good. We got an assortment of rolls (including a spider roll) and nigiri sushi - all was very good and tasted fresh. Helps if you have reservations, but... More

We got a great tip on this place and what a wonderful find. We sat at the counter which was really a hoot as the chefs are just as entertaining as the sushi is good. Very close to Universal Studios so if you get there give this place a try. MUST have reservations or a long wait. Very very good... More

We came here on a tip from our tour company what a great choice. Friendly staff the cooks welcome you by yelling hello from behind the counter. The food was wonderful, the service was excellent we will send everyone here.

We sat at the bar and had fun watching all the action and looking at all the interesting sushi dishes pass by. The bartenders had hot tips on the best sushi selections.

We ate here prior to the Lakers game. I would only suggest going for the sushi as the menu is limited. Prices are a bit steep for entrees but the sushi prices are on par with most other places. I found it surprising that they charge $1 extra to cut your sushi or they will serve it whole! Atmosphere was... More
