Would rank among the best restaurants I have been to - especially for the bar-side ambience and quality of meat. Had the center-cut filet and it was an experience. Very expensive but the perfect place for the special occasions.

One of the best Grills/Steakhouses within close range to Mountain View/Palo Alto. The BBQ Beef Ribs are to die for. The atmosphere is Always lively and friendly. Reservation is essential unless you are just two people and are prepared to wait in the bar. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are other great stuff on the menu which I'm... More

Always have to wait over an hour. I guess it is the place to be seen. Food is pretty heavy. Very loud, hard to carry a conversation. Parking is a nightmare.

My husband and visited this restaurant on a Friday night - we had 8:15 reservations but did not get seated until closer to 8:45 - hence the rating. The food was excellent - I had the grilled artichokes, prime rib and my husband had the chicken - all of the food came hot (cannot stand lukewarm food) and very, very... More

My companion and I went there for dinner Tuesday evening. Arriving at about 6:45pm for 7pm reservations. When we checked in, we were told "they were running behind about 20 minutes." Well that was quite true. At about 7:20pm one of the hostesses came out and comp'ed us an appetizer. By 7:30pm we were seated. I know the restaurant cannot... More

I met 4 high school friends while I was back in Northern California. This is a great place to meet friends and have a reasonably priced dinner. It's a little loud and can't really accommodate parties larger than 6. Total bill including tax and tip was $55 per person. Food is excellent. Try the tri tip and cheese enchilada.

Los Altos Grill use to be called Bendara's. Open for dinner only. Serve a wide variety of foods, from BBQ, to Mexican. Drinks are very expensive. Corn bread on a skillet is always a favorite. Seems to be a favorite hang out for singles.

Los Altos Grill is an excellent eatery with a nice selection of meals for everyone. The corn bread in a skillet is the best, sweet with a kick from the green chilis. The main dishes are a nice serving size. My husband loves the bone in prime rib. The enchiladas are very good and the Mexico City rice is well... More

The Los Altos Grill has become the benchmark for a good restaurant in this immediate area. The food is very good to excellent, prices are commensurate with the quality and service level. The issue is the noise and crowd, so go for lunch, or go later in the evening for dinner

Where else can you bring your own wine and enjoy a fabulous meal with your friends in the middle of the peninsula? Nowhere but here. Do not hesitate to visit. But be prepared for the wait as everyone else in town is here too!
