This place used to be standing room only. It's still going so I went inside and was put off by the prices. I ordered a hamburger for lunch and it was absolutely worth the price! BBQ'd on oak, great flavor and quality. Why only one time? Well, it's a 20 mile drive and I have to go past Charlie's to... More

Great little 'roadside' Truckstop Cafe. Food is consistantly good - especially at breakfast. Last visit however, the (longtime) a.m. Waitress was so visibly indifferent, it was ridiculous. Sort of 'tossed' the toast on our plate like a frisbee, did everything exactly the OPPOSITE of what wd requested-just a real pain. She was beyond that- RUDE and nasty are far more... More

Pass this place up! Last Monday (July 25th, 2011) my husband and I stopped at the Twin Oaks Restaurant being that it was the first place we saw when we pulled off the highway after visiting Cambria. At the door we were greeted (actually blocked from entering) by a black and white dog that was a double for the doggy... More

I can't imagine this place being ranked anything lower than tops in the town. I live here and this is the place to go. Ask for the meat loaf at dinner. It's not on the menu and it's fabulous. We bring all our out-of-town guests to Twin Oaks.

Don't let the simple exterior discourage you from enjoying a nice, well priced meal at this restaurant; we ate lunch on a Saturday and we did see some newcomers like us at this restaurant along with the regulars patrons; we ordered the rib eye sandwich (they use an aoili sauce instead of mayo) I loved it, the meat was cooked... It may look like a coffee shop from the outside .... but this place is no coffee shop. It's a wonderful resturant with excellent food and warm service at very reasonable prices. If you are traveling up or down the coast on US-101 I recommend you make Twin Oaks a stop along the way you won't be disappointed.

I've been to the "Twin Oaks" a few times and I have found it to be a cozy and tasty venture. It's not fancy and it's without attitude. If you want some good, hearty, homemade food then this is the place for you. The last time I went my friend and we enjoyed the tri-tip nachos. They were very delicious... More

I had always heard about the Twin Oaks Restaurant but never ventured over there to try them out....until now. From the outside it looks like your regular Country Cafe. Inside there is a nice dining area and a long bar (they serve beer, wine & a full bar.) The prices are reasonable and the food was very good. We started... More
