Great lunch spot, with decent prices

Great lunch spot, with decent prices, well more decent than dinner. General entrees are about $20. Got the Alaskan Halibut, and shared the Alaskan shrimp, Alaskan King Crab, sushi and cioppino. The Alaskan Halibut was nicely cooked, grilled and flakey. How a Halibut should taste. Alaskan... read more

Took my mom out to dinner last night, or I should say she took me. A friend had given her a gift card to this restaurant for her 90th birthday. While I hobbled in, booted because of a broken foot, she couldn't wait to show me around. This restaurant is one of her favorite places, but one she reserves for... More

This is a mid-priced restaurant with first class menu and good presentation. Nice Classy place to impress a fish eater. As a fisherman that has traveled many places to fish I'm happy to have found a great place to eat fish locally.

How do I begin.... I'm a world traveler and know good seafood when I taste it. Most restaurants in SoCal/Orange County area are either mediocre or extremely expensive (albeit with views of ocean). This restaurant not only has great food and service, but prices are reasonable for the quality/portions. Our group of 5 (4adults,1child) had a variety of dishes from... More

Now I understand why people wait for an hour to get into this place. They have the most amazing clam chowder and excellent fish. Food is great, staff are friendly & it looks nice and prices are fair. I am not sure what else one should expect from a restaurant & don't understand the negative comments from some people! I... More

We have been coming to The Fish Company for many, many years. They have the best clam chowder I have ever had. They have undergone an amazing remodel and the "new"restaurant is just beautiful. The food is still outstanding as well as the impeccable service. I go to Weight Watches and they are very receptive to preparing my meal they... More

I've never quite understood why people will wait two hours for a table at the Original Fish Company in Los Alamitos. Or why the restaurant won't take reservations. There is no ambiance in the parking lot, which is about the only place to wait. If I were inclined to wait that long for a meal (I'm not ) I would... More

This restaurant is undergoing a major refurbishment which is nearing completion. The results are terrific. The dining rooms are now modern and elegant and have a spacious "feel" about them. The rest rooms are top drawer. Despite it promoting itself as a fish restaurant, it still has to master cooking and presenting fish. The tendency is to overlook and dry... More

The Fish Company has the best clam chowder ever! My brother and sister in law were out from Nashville and we took them there. My brother raved the whole time he was out here about the chowder and all the selections. I have a brother in law that would eat there every time he was down visiting. He loves it... More

Last night was my first time back to the Fish Company since they started their remodel, and we took a friend there for her birthday. At 6:15 on a Monday night, the parking lot was packed and there were a large number of people waiting, even though there were empty tables. The reason the Fish Company was one of our... More
