Excellent food, wine and service. The setting is so relaxing and beautiful. A great afternoon out with girl friends to celebrate birthdays.

For our anniversary we had a lunch of cod tacos. They came with a wonderful zucchini side salad that we hope to duplicate at home. My mimosa was delish and my husband's beer was as decribed. We only had a short wait even though we came at 11:30. We were seated in a place that looked like it would be... More

Went here just to have a look at what all the hype was about. This is a very impressive nursery. Many lovely plants. I was especially impressed with the variety of Dahlias available. There are many things to look at as you are browsing, and nice places to sit and relax. Took a break and sat by the Koi pond... More

We did not mind waiting over one hour for lunch at the cafe, because it is located in the nursery with many fabulous plants, trees, pots to admire. In addition, arts and crafts, olive oil and wine tasting areas make the time pass quickly. Note, using wine purchased on site avoids a corkage fee. Altogether, we had a delightful experience.

Went for lunch with friends. The sandwiches are really tasty but I feel that the pricing is a bit excessive for a sandwich.

Have never seen such a variety of nursery items supplemented with great arts and crafts, oil/vinegar, wine, jewellery, etc. Loved the rustic charm of the place and will definitely return.

Had dinner in the conservatory with friends and the place was cozy and warm. The background guitar music was pleasant but too loud to carry on a conversation with our dinner partners. I ordered the clam chowder which was excellent, but our pepperoni pizza was too greasy, but was large enough to share with my wife. We were surprised how... More

Eating at The Conservatory at High Hand Nursery in Loomis is an occasion! The food is simple but gourmet; much of the produce is grown on the owner's farm. Best place to enjoy lunch with a friend or group of friends in a garden setting. If the weather is inclement, they roll down the glass doors, so you still have... More

High Hand Nursery restaurant has become one of my very favorite lunch places. The atmosphere of high ceilings with plants growing inside and being able to see plants in the nursery gives a most relaxing place for a good lunch. I've eaten sandwiches there and all have been very tasty. The restaurant offers salads and sandwiches in half proportions which... More
