Despite a not very impressive exterior, this place is amazing! From the moment we walked in the staff greeted us, 'Buonasera' and not in a coached way- but like you were walking into the local family restaurant in Italy. Super attentive and helpful in picking out what to each- the waitress was able to answer fairly detailed questions about the... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants. They have a vast menu (although I always seem to order the same thing...margherita pizza) and a great wine selection. The atmosphere is very quaint and it's never too loud and noisy like the bigger chain restaurants. Although I have seen it get pretty busy on weekends, we usually try to go early... More

So why can I say the "best authentic Italian food"? Look how many times we have been to Italy...every year. This place is like going home to Roma. We went on Christmas Eve for a meal for just the two of us. Everything was perfect. It was also nice to talk to Stefano about Italy and food and wine and... More

When La Parolaccia first opened, we lived nearby and visited a few times a month. Always authentic, always yummy, always treated like family by the owners and staff. Last week, we returned on a Sunday night, after about 3 years away. We'd been at a function, and were hungry for a little dinner - not a giant meal. We had... More

We had our daughters wedding rehearsal dinner here. The food was great but the service and seating location were terrible. We were told when we called to make the reservation for 25 people that we would be seated in a separate room in an horse shoe configuration. What a joke they created a table configuration that was congested right next... More

I was at La Parolaccia on a Friday evening and that was a mistake. The place was packed and with plenty of people waiting outside for their turn. Inside it was impossible to hold a decent conversation for the place sounded like a madhouse. As far as food goes, the appetizer of fried calamari was superb (really very well fried,... More

I don't know what caused the stomach reaction within an hour after leaving the restaurant but I can say that the food didn't taste good. It reminded me of frozen food that wasn't fully cooked.

In the past month, we had two meals at La Parolaccia, one from the lunch menu and one from the dinner menu. The biggest problem at this restaurant is making a decision of what to order. Both menus served generous portions of the pasta dishes. My pollo piccata was tender and delicious with a side of vegetables and oven roasted... More

My husband and I have been frequenting La Parolaccia since it first opened. In fact, we have eaten there so many times we feel like family, and they are always glad to see us. I always try for one of the "tables for two" near the pizza oven, especially in the winter when the heat of the fire warms you... More

Very good restaurant, we loved all our food except for the veil parmessan but they were very good at offering to change it. But the rest of our pastas and pizza were very very good. Nothing like freshly made pasta!!! Super nice service and good italian feel!!
