A friend and I were taking my dog to the dog beach for her birthday. No place in Belmont Shores has stepped up to the plate to allow dogs on their patio even though it is legal. I needed a lunch place, not a chain and not too far from the beach. I found this place on a dog friendly... More

This charming little restaurant is on a corner close to the buzz of Long Beach, yet the tranquil atmosphere and enticing menu allow a luxurious escape for a delightful meal. The menu, mostly Greek, has many offerings, including an entire page of Vegan options- and even Vegan dessert. A full bar and an espresso machine guarantee an enchanted visit. Usually... More

There is no supervision for employees hence food is inconsistent. Do not ask for greek lasagna (is a left over noodles scramble put together with egg and cooked on a bowl) Plastic banner outside for mimosas tells it all...(careful if it is free...could not drink it since orange juice was stale) Hope this review helps owners to change...sad...I live around... I have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. If you like Greek gyros you've never had meat this good: thick generous tasty portions. The gyro platter usually provides me with a good meal and a snack the next day. Their menu is extensive and the items are well portioned. Split a tasty Greek salad for a nice... More

I like the outside seating at this location, there is plenty to chose from on the menu. The service is great, they are very attentive and accomidating.

I first came to Ambrosia because I had a friend who's GF worked here, but I have been here many times since then... They really do have very good food. I LOVE the Filet Mignon Stroganoff.. It's excellent! They do have fairly high prices though. You can go to the Pike and get something cheaper if you want, but you... More

This as the closest cafe to my hotel, it turned out to be the best food in Long Beach and great service.

This is an excellend place for Mediterranean food, you can't beat the atmosphere indoors or out. Servers can get pretty busy, but stay on top of things. Food is excellent but menu prices are a bit higher than most other Mediterranean restaurants in the area. You can't beat $2 mimosas on Sundays though.

We had family visitors from out of town last night, and pondered where to take them for something fun, but not too fancy. Ambrosia is one of our favorites, and turned out to be just the ticket! Two of our guests had never explored Greek food, and three of us know it well. We started with excellent, complimentary taramosalata with... More
