Spent a couple of late nights at the Auld Dubliner on a recent trip to Long Beach. I didn't have any meals there, so can't speak to the food, but I can say the beer list was very impressive if you enjoy variety. The atmosphere was very welcoming with a good mix of locals and tourists. Both nights I visited... More

My husband and I ate here for lunch and liked it so much that we came back the same night for dinner. There was a live band that was amazing. It was an Irish band (don’t know the name). The music was great and we ended up staying for several hours. The service was excellent. The whole restaurant was full... More

Better than the usual "Irish" pub. Local bands ranging from solo acts to 5-piece Irish/Americana/classic rock. Music starts around 10 pm--later than most. The bartenders are laid-back and friendly. Easy walk from all the downtown hotels etc.

We arrived mid afternoon in Long Beach for a conference and needed a place to eat. The nearby hotel staff recommended the Auld Dubliner which looked like just another Irish pub - one that might be found in any major city across the country. First impressions were definitely wrong about this pub. While its decor was typical, its service and... More

With half a day to kill before my flight back to Australia after a long month in USA, I caught the blue line train from downtown LA to Long Beach and stumbled across this 'yet another' Irish pub. The beer was cold enough but the service was superb. The barman was genuinely interested in my travel stories (a traveller himself)... More

LOved the Irish food as did by family. I just got back from Dublin about a month ago and after eating here I am ready to go back for the fresh Guiness (much better in Dublin than than the states) and the Irish stew. Everything we ate was great as well as the impressive beer. Save the money on trip... More

Swung by for lunch with my father. Waitress was attentive and full of suggestions. I went for a Murphys Irish Stout with the classic corned beef and cabage dish. The food was delcious and I would recommend to anyone seeing the Irish cuisine.

Food was unique. I had a potato pancake (Called "The Boxty"), stuffed with egg and sausage. Fresh fruit was excellent, also. The sweetest waitress who is from Ireland, was our server. So friendly, so pretty. Try this place for breakfast, served from 8-11am.
