This ain't the best sushi place on earth, neither is it a place for purist, but it is a place to eat good sushi at a great price. This place is highly underrated. They're one of the few places that can get down on rolls and single sashimi cuts. Their fish is fresh, their menu is playful, and their staff... More

This place has some of the best, if not the best sushi I have ever had. The fish is always very fresh with quality second to none. I had the lunch special, which comes with 6 pieces of sushi, 4 pieces of spicy tuna roll, miso soup and a salad. All that for less than $10. Wow. My friend and... More

I love eating here. The specials are wonderful, the staff is very friendly, and there is a large, interesting menu. However, the parking lot is small and is shared with the motel that's on the same property. Be prepared to park on the street.

You have to have the Lynn Roll, Yellowtail w/ jalapeno and the Fire Cracker. Every single roll is amazing!

Arrived just before the end of Happy Hour so got beer and sushi specials at a discounted price. Was there with family. The garlic edamame was some of the best I've ever eaten. Would love the recipe! The hand rolls were delicious. My daughter and her toddler son really like the teryaki chicken. Atmosphere--diner style. It was pretty lively as... More

The Sushi Studio offers Japanese cuisine and sushi in a lively atmosphere. Located near the campus of CSULB (California State University Long Beach), The Sushi Studio does not have the serene atmosphere that most diners expect in a Japanese restaurant. Diners are greeted by the staff and sushi chefs when they come in and are seated around the sushi bar... More

My friend wanted sushi for lunch. I googled the Long Beach area and picked this place. The food is well presented and tasty, but the sushi rice is incorrect. Since most soak the sushi in soy sauce, it doesn't matter and Sushi Studio knows that. The staff should point out the white board specials because I almost missed the Miso... More
