I think several reviewers here hit it on the head--the DESSERTS are fabulous. The meals themselves are often bland, overcooked, mushy, lacking in depth, etc. They seem to be resting on their laurels a little, plus they have guaranteed clientele from the senior community next door. We have been eating at bake n broil since we were kids. They have the best soups and baked goods. The atmosphere is homey but a little crowded. I personally love the lemon pepper chicken. The salads are also really good with the homemade croutons. The service is good not great but not really bad. I highly recommend you try... more

I've been coming to Bake N Broil for years. The food is always good. My favorite things on the menu is the turkey sandwich. Get it on Squaw bread and it's just to die for. Good old fashioned greasy spoon. Good pancakes, eggs and bacon. Coffee's strong. This is another place that usually has a wait, at least on weekend mornings. more
