My family, friends and co-workers love this place for the great consistent food. The baked goods are to die for. Many of us live right down the street. BUT.......the one and only thing that keeps many of us from returning to this spot is the poor & rude service. Sometimes you luck up on a good server who actually takes... more

Today was the last time my family and friends will be treated poorly by the owners of this place. The servers are great. The owners are snotty and rude. They make you wait while they hold tables for friends. I enjoy the food but today was the last straw when the owner said" there is a wait cant you see?"... more

I think several reviewers here hit it on the head--the DESSERTS are fabulous. The meals themselves are often bland, overcooked, mushy, lacking in depth, etc. They seem to be resting on their laurels a little, plus they have guaranteed clientele from the senior community next door. The last two times I went were disappointing. I ordered a "California Roast Beef"... more

the comfort food is hit and miss but the desserts are CRAZY. Lemon lush pie and the simple chocolate layer cake are the best. Best value for red velvet cakes or cupcakes to be had anywhere in the LA area. more

I came for the red velvet cake and left with a tasty homemade strawberry jam. $3.00 for 8oz to-go. The service was prompt. The place is small so its hard to accommodate parties more than 4 on one table. I came with one other guest around 11am on a weekday and it was quick. I ordered the bake n broil... more

We have been eating at bake n broil since we were kids. They have the best soups and baked goods. The atmosphere is homey but a little crowded. I personally love the lemon pepper chicken. The salads are also really good with the homemade croutons. The service is good not great but not really bad. I highly recommend you try... more

I've been coming to Bake N Broil for years. The food is always good. My favorite things on the menu is the turkey sandwich. Get it on Squaw bread and it's just to die for. The freshest real turkey breast...well done yet still moist. Potato salad also excellent. Chicken pot pie, the soups, you name it....I have never had anything... more

I live in the area and have been visiting Bake N' Broil off and on for years.Their baked goods are usually awesome, especially the Lemon Lush pie. The food is good, but not outstanding. The portions are generous, but I feel that if I have to wait 20-30 minutes for a table, the food better be outstanding, and it's always... more

Good old fashioned greasy spoon. Good pancakes, eggs and bacon. Coffee's strong. This is another place that usually has a wait, at least on weekend mornings. more
