Very good food and service.

We were in long beach for almost two days waiting for our cruise and had lunch at Kings, the server can't remember her name was the best server you can get, attentive, interested and friendly. She explained everything and nothing was too much. The food was very good, we knew we would be back... read more

We went here after a day of Whale and Dolphin watching and visiting the Aquarium. That gave use a hankering for seafood. Our server, Caroline was very friendly and knowledgable. I asked what was good and she suggested the Sand Dabs, Mac & Cheese and corn. The corn was the kind cooked on the cob and then cut it off.... More

I have been going to King's Fish House on Broadway & Pine in Long Beach for over 20 years! I started going there on a business trip! My work was at the Civc Center and was ordered, then after lunch the completed package became available to be used in downtown Los Angeles! I took the BLUE LINE from Los Angeles... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I ate here last year and returned again this year because it was so good. Honestly I can't understand the negative reviews. Did these people really eat at the same place? Oh well. We ate at the bar again. And had howder, lobster boil and oysters on half shell. All excellent. Even same... More

Has to be some of the best ahi tuna EVER. Beautifully blackened, rare as ordered. Everything we had there was great. They mixed mussels and clams in a really nice broth for us. Needed a spoon to do it in. Great sour dough bread. Nicely done walnut crusted salmon. All served efficiently with a smile. Also enjoyed their apple crumble.... More

Business dining, it was not crowded at all. Probably because the Grand Prix was still a week out and no convention in town. Mediocre seafood at best, ordered grilled scallop and shrimp combo and they both were over grilled and tasteless. The garlic mashed had lack of flavor and lacking texture, almost seemed like the were made from a box... More

The atmosphere is typical New England. The Alaskan San Dabs are probably the best I've ever had. Service a bit overbearing but, better than being under served.

Our family of four made reservations after seeing this restaurant during a walk earlier in the day on a Saturday. SO glad we did as they were quite busy when we returned for our dinner outside. Service was attentive and super friendly. The baked mussels app was amazing and my husband really enjoyed his trout dinner and I had a... More

Surprisingly good sashimi. Substituted fish without hesitation. Had their red crab and it was very good. Service was average but the music was very loud for a restaurant. Would return for those two items - would have to be when we could sit outside and not listen to the music.

I was there with a party of 10 and the only good thing we could say was that the clam chowder was very good. The crab cakes, catfish, shrimp pasta, rosemary potatoes were all just average. The salmon salad was good, however, it wasn't good enough for us to want to return. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was... More
