King's Fish House is located on a busy street full of restaurants and bars in Long Beach. The food was good but not outstanding for the money. We had the hot seafood combo to start which was tasty but too much fried food. We both had the New England Clam Bake which was lobster, mussels and clams - it was... More

This is my first time visit at King Fish. I ordered side salad and calamari. My friend order green salad. My salad was in a smaller plate than her. When the bill came, both of us was charged the same amount. I brought it to the waitress attention, he said they are the same charge. Really? Aside from that issue,... More

We have eaten there several times in the past two years. The food is consistently great, a little over priced. Service is good depending on your server. I would suggest going during the week if it is possible. if you go on the weekend, reservations are a must. This restaurant is truly the King of the Sea!

Same ownership as water grill, same quality seafood, same basic price structure. The atmosphere is better (especially after water grill's skipper remodeling) - dark woods, brass, leather booths. You can't go wrong.......but Parker's Lighthouse is probably better.

On business in Long Beach, trying to find a place with good food and space enough to work with my colleague on our presentation, we followed the recommendation of the Renaissance Hotel's concierge. We he was right. The menu was very extensive with many different types of fish, prepared in several ways. We leisurely savored our food (Salmon for me)... More

The salmon cakes and calamari were excellent. I had grilled shrimp and the were big and grilled nicely. The only reason I chose a four is it felt a little rushed for a business dinner.

What a great afternoon for a birthday lunch. Four of us met at Kings, parking was convenient across the street in the pre-paid meter lot. The sand dabs and sea bass were excellent, and the choices of side dishes offered were very good and had something for all types of eating preference. The outdoor dining was great, and the service... When I want seafood in downtown Long Beach this is where I go. Everything is good and I love the sourdough bread. Desserts and drinks are awesome too so next time you want a nice dinner out check out Kings in the heart of Pine Avenue. Plenty of others bars are close by too and you can walk down Pine... More

A great place to take lunch or dinner. A little pricey, but worth a trip. Not as good as the Fish Company in Los Alamitos. Parking is a pain in the neck. The service is a little slow, but it is friendly.

King's Fish House is in a great location, the food is fantastic and the service is great. It's a wonderful place to eat and I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! It's our 36th wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks and that's where we're going for dinner. King's is a great choice, especially considering how many great restaurants there... More
