Visited Parker's with a colleague and realized that I was entering a place that my teaching salary would not typically support. Anyway, I was happy to limit myself to the Crisp Calamari at $13 from the Appetizer and Small Plates section of the menu. I will say that the serving was very large and the squid was tender, flavorful, and... More

I am in town for a conference. A colleague made the reservation, so I had no idea what to expect. What I got was a sumptuous seafood linguini. While the mussels were not particularly muscular and the shrimp didn't meet the measure of the Gulf shrimp I am used to eating, the scallops made up for them. Fresh, firm, sweet... More

Parker's Lighthouse is located in Shoreline Village near many of the hotels on Ocean Blvd. It is a bit pricey, entrees $25 and up. This is not a place to grab a quick bite and get moving. It is more suitable to a leisurely dining experience to celebrate or business meal. Although the name implies a nautical feeling, there is... More

Came here for Valentines. The set menu was delicious. Upstairs is the Queen's Steak House. It's located in Shoreline Village. Lots to do around it before or after your dinner.

This restaurant has one of the best long beach views in town. The food is meh and expensive.... but they have a pretty good happy hour. This place didn't win me over, but my sister really likes going there for her birthday so I guess its a once a year kinda place for me :)

Seating outside is the best! Enjoy the great food in view of the Queen Mary across the bay. Seafood is a solid selection: the shrimp po'boy is excellent!

I had the jumbo lump crab cake, clam chowder, and Caesar salad. The chipotle aioli with the crab cake was spicy, but not overly so. The meat was delicate and delicious. Service and location are excellent, with great views of the ocean.
