Good meal options, simple, delicious, nice ambiance although it can be a little noisy. Service is very rapid.
I hate writing bad reviews but this place is subpar. Wanted to try this restaurant. The food is mediocre. The bread seems to have been sitting around for a while. The house chianti is gallo jug wine. Maybe if you've got the kids out for an adventure this is suitable. Staff is fine. The vote - won't be back.
This is by far the best Italian restaurant in Long Beach, CA! We have been coming to Domenico’s for years. Our order is always the same: #1 salad with house dressing, large ground pepperoni pizza, and a cup of the complimentary minestrone soup. The fresh bread is a must! It has become a family tradition to come on special occasions.... More
I've been coming to Domenico's for almost 50 years and it is still my favorite Italian restaurant in Long Beach! Really good food and they don't skimp on portions either.
Pizza is definitely a matter of personal taste but, for my money, Domenico's is the best. We've been dining here for 25 years and always order the same thing - sliced pepperoni pizza, Domenico's Special salad, along with breadsticks and their amazing Minestrone soup. Service is always great and I love the ambiance. Over the 25 years of dining here,... More
Sorry for being so negative but this restaurant has nothing to do with good italian food. We did not try the Pizza though. Linguine with Clams are swimming in a red sauce, horrible! They definetely did not use fresh ingredients. Strange smell in the dining room, decoration was relativly nice. Only good thing was the service...
Traveling through Long Beach area and found Domenicos to satisfy our craving for pizza. We were with another couple and ordered separate pizzas to our liking and found that the pizzas were tasty and quite filling. We had wine with our dinner which was chosen from a menu of good wine offerings. Service was very friendly. Atmosphere was Italian decor... More
Been coming here for years. The lunch salad and pizza special can't be beat and is worth the drive to Belmont Shore. The food and service always great...what's not to love?
Growing up in Long Beach meant being able to enjoy the best pizza in the area whenever i wanted - the taste of the pizza and the delicious salad stays in my memories 'til today when I will go back to Dominico's whenever in California. I manage to get to the States every few years and this June will be... More
Three of us had dinner here last night. While the food was fine the service was mediocre (our waitress disappeared for a good 15 minutes while we were waiting to order). The quantities were large and the price reasonable but I couldn't help thinking that better food and service were only a block away at Cafe Gazelle. It was nice... More
