We stopped here for dinner on trip advisor recommendations. Tuesday night they have a nice specials menu. My husband has spaghetti and meatballs $7. Sauce was good but light on the pasta. Daughter had the chicken lasagna $7 and said it was out of this world. I had the meat lasagna and it was quite tasty. $12. Good dinner.

This lovely restaurant is only a few blocks from the beach and part of a long street of cafes, coffee shops, boutiques and such and connected to charming residential neighborhoods. Our party of five arrived at opening time (11:30) for a birthday lunch. In addition to the menu, the waitstaff and ambience could not have been better. Our meal choices... More

Ok, I bought a Groupon to try this place out. Called ahead for reservations for Sunday evenings but told they only take them for groups of 6 or more. I ventured there at 6:30 pm and got a table right away right on the sidewalk. We brought our own bottle of champagne and paid the $10 cork fee. I ordered... More

A good neighborhood hangout for fresh Italian style food--but not heavy on the red sauce type fare. Good service, too.

If you're craving Italian and looking for a menu packed with good home cooking, try La Strada. Everyone from the host to the waitress was really nice and happy to answer questions/make recommendations. Menu offered a lot of variety. Highlight of the meal: The Caprese salad had the best mozzarella cheese I've ever tasted!

we found La Strada by chance because the place we wanted to go had a long wait what a GREAT place! you really feel like family and the food is just EXCELLENT: real homemade sauce, a good selection on the menu and even though the place was packed with a group (the place can only accommodate 48 people), we still... This is the kind of restaurant you wish was in your own neighborhood. Reliably good "light" Italian fare, decent wines and good service.

After work we had to find a quick meal to go over paperwork. I had heard about this small American-style Italian restaurant and decided to give it a try. Busy and friendly, the staff did a good job getting our order and giving suggestions. The food was good, fresh and basic. More American than Italian...but done well. Not the place... More
