I was searching in Belmont Shore for a very late night restaurant (it was 10:30 on a Monday) and although beginning to close up, Kelley invited me in for dinner at La Strada. I have always loved LaStrada--they are EXTREMELY reasonable in their pricing, the atmosphere is great (the red checkered... read more

If this restaurant weren't on 2nd Street, it wouldn't stand a chance of surviving for long. Don't get me wrong, though. It's nice enough to visit for a pleasant little meal, but it's not a place you'd seek out for dinner.

Beautiful little restaurant on 2nd Street. Family owned, and it shows. Warm, friendly service in a casual dining space. The food is fresh and perfectly prepared. We shared a caprese salad, which was plenty big enough for two. I then had the linguini pescadore- great variety of fresh seafood and perfectly cooked pasta, while my wife had one of their... More

In long beach for the next couple days and was looking to try a good local Italian joint. La strada did not disappoint. Ordered the Bianca Alfredo pizza and spaghetti w meat balls. That pizza was perfection. Will def be back!

When we walked past it seemed diners were relaxed and really enjoying their meals. We were not intending to stop here but are very glad we did. We asked for a table right were the restaurant opens to the sidewalk. It was a beautiful night and a nice breeze. The servers were very attentive and we had our drinks quickly.... More

The intimacy of La Strada is equal to the service and food, thank goodness for us locals! Our server (so sorry I am blanking on his name) was extremely attentive and sincere..not just a 'checker backer'. There on Saturday and while the bars around 2nd Street were typically noisy, traffic in La Strada was not overly busy at 6:30PM and... More

We always take our visitors to this restaurant. Everything we have tried is great. As I have a shrimp allergy, they are great about substitutions for me. Lisa, the owner, always makes you feel like her personal guest. It can be a little noisy, but worth putting up with. Has out door seating, but limited.

We stopped here for dinner on trip advisor recommendations. Tuesday night they have a nice specials menu. My husband has spaghetti and meatballs $7. Sauce was good but light on the pasta. Daughter had the chicken lasagna $7 and said it was out of this world. I had the meat lasagna and it was quite tasty. $12. Good dinner.

This lovely restaurant is only a few blocks from the beach and part of a long street of cafes, coffee shops, boutiques and such and connected to charming residential neighborhoods. Our party of five arrived at opening time (11:30) for a birthday lunch. In addition to the menu, the waitstaff and ambience could not have been better. Our meal choices... More

Ok, I bought a Groupon to try this place out. Called ahead for reservations for Sunday evenings but told they only take them for groups of 6 or more. I ventured there at 6:30 pm and got a table right away right on the sidewalk. We brought our own bottle of champagne and paid the $10 cork fee. I ordered... More
