Good brunch

he service could definitely have been better. The host failed to seat us (ever!) and we stood at the bar for 20 minutes until the bartender made someone get us stools. That being said, the never-ending mimosas softened the blow, and the brunch items we sampled were delicious.

My reservations for the Flamenco Show was not honored by manager Jose Rodriguez saying that the show was already fully booked. Where I see unprofessionalism and mismanagement is the way they handled my reservations. I called Tuesday around 3pm to make reservations for Saturday Flamenco show. The person said he will make a note for now because the restaurant will... More

The show is fun. The food is unusual, but good. It's a little touristy. The convention crowd sometimes clogs this part of Long Beach. Parking is a pain in the neck. Worth a trip. Get a reservation on the weekend.

So, it's Monday night and I'm out and about having some drinks at the bar. And out comes the manager Enrique. As I turn back to see what's the rattling all about I see him yelling at Ana which is one of the best servers there. This girls knows all the regulars that come in and knows her stuff.. Damn... Nice variety of Latin American food, not just Mexican. My son-in-law from Costa Rica said, "This is like my grandmother used to make!"--a high compliment. Fresh California veggies in everything make it even better.

went there for the Award Winning Sangria and was enticed by the variety of Latin American style tapas! If you are a fan of pork, must try the Ropa Vieja

Came here and had zarzuela, which was exceptional. Paella was great; cervice was also great. Begged friends to return, and had a horrible two appetizer plate where I had to spit out one mussel;it reeked! (this was a tuna and mussel appetizer over greens) our server's favorite bruschetta left me very unhappy--blah; corn too chewy, tomatoes nothing to write home... More

Went here on a recommendation of some friends. So happy we did. The Sangria was devine on a hot day. Started out with appetizers of calamari, ceviche, and ropita vieja. All were excellent and plenty for 4 of us eating. My husband had Zarzuela De Mariscos, a fishermans stew that was served in a huge bowl with fresh hot yummy... More

Great place to go for happy hour with half priced tapas and great sangria. However, my favorite dish is the paella. They also have live flamenco dancers on Saturday evenings. If you are there on a Friday evening you may wish to sit on the patio as it's great for people watching,

Used opentable for a 1000 point reservation- tasty food and nice variety on the menu. I started with the Hole Mole, and it was as described -- spicy and sweet. The cerdo al limon was a bit of a surprise, but tasty -- more of a hunk of pork rather than medallions, but an excellent sauce. Portions are large, prices... More
