The Best in LA

The food is superb. The view unmatched in Southern California. The service first rate. For fine dinning this is the best in LA. Don't miss the souffle for desert; remember to order it up front however.

Qualifier: This review is based on the meal with the 'Dining with the Spirits' tour. Having been to Winston's before and thoroughly having enjoyed our experience, we were excited to not only dine in style again but also do some ghostly paranormal hunting as well. Sadly the ghosts got in the kitchen and scared away the quality. We had an... More

Came here for xmas with reservations for brunch. Wasn't packed but they def could've used more servers - took almost 30 minutes for waiter to come over, after manager ultimately took our wine order. Fixed price menu - had the bisque which is pretty good, arugula salad not drenched in dressing, beef was good but sauce was excellent, potatoes ok,... More

Having traveled on the Queen Mary in 1948 and now staying one night on board it was a must to visit this restaurant. It was a good experience but a bit dissapointed with the food for the price it was. It was very well presented but the vegetables were under cooked for us and small portions. It was worth the experience... More

Our group of 10 had an excellent time enjoying a Christmas party here. The service was excellent, the ambiance and decor perfect, but the food was average (certainly not excellent and the reason for 3 stars). Upon arrival it had a bit of a mortuary feel - lots of bored looking diners - certainly not a hip crowd. That aside,... More

When the meal and the service is that good there isn't much to say except that the meal was well presented absolutely the highest quality, cooked to order, delivered quickly and hot. The service was exceptional and friendly. The atmosphere was elegant albeit more modern than much of the ship. The bottom line is you can't go wrong.

Not worth the money. Service was perfunctory and food (had the beef Welington) was nothing special. Too bad - the setting is excellent, very posh, but the food did not match the environment

Just the name on the boat made me a history buff want to go. The food was not dated and delicious. Service was wonderful. You should dress less casual but they don't require sports coats

They've done a great job at Sir Winston's in capturing the feeling and ambiance of the top class restaurant on the Queen Mary. Decor, furnishings and setting are classics for the ship and the era. Nice window views of the harbor and Long Beach across the water. Food is simply excellent and service is splendid. Great wine list. Delicious meal.... More
