Although its quite expensive, the dining at Sir Winston's was top notch. The service was impeccable, the food also lovely, fresh and in keeping with the Queen Mary theme. Whilst I cant say the same for my stay on the QM, I would definitely go back to Sir Winston's for another dinner!

I booked a table 3 months in advance and was looking forward to this dinner. We were pleasantly surprised when the host greeted us and remarked that they had been waiting 3 months for us and had a great table waiting! We got the table I was hoping for, right by the water! The service and food were impressive. I... More

After our previous visit, we had to go again. This time it was my mother & father-in-law, son and of course my wife & I. We went in between Christmas & New Years. We had quite a wide age range at the table with all different taste's... I was a little worried that this would be an issue... but I... More

The restaurant is located at the top deck of the Queen Mary at the back end of the ship so you have a great view of the city, and the bay. The restaurant has a piano bar where you can go and enjoy a drink before your dinner. The dinner presentation is great, elegant silverware waits for you at the... More

The whole atmosphere of the Queen Mary is very inviting. The food was very poor with a high price tag. They should turn this place into a nice cafe and it would be much more enjoyable. If you want a very expensive restaurant with bad food come on down!

After eating at Sir Winston's at least three other times we were looking forward to our visit on Friday December 26th. We were seated promptly at our reservation time and served our drinks quickly. The waiter seemed like he was out of his element and wanted to be somewhere else. When we asked how much the lobster special was ($70)... More

On August 13th, hubby and I and our 2 good friends from Long Beach came to Sir Winston's to celebrate hubby's birthday. The last time we came to celebrate his birthday (with same friends) we enjoyed Chelsea's Chowder House and now on a recommendation decided to try Sir Winston's. Very happy we did! The Queen Mary was on our list of places to see while in Long Beach and we were doubly excited to be able to dine at Sir Winston's. Loved my lobster ravioli (high point of the meal), husband hated his Oysters Rockefeller. Their signature Beef Wellington was OK. The chocolate soufflé tasted like scrambled eggs with chocolate. Ton of money for mediocre food. Told server my food was icy cold, and asked him to microwave it. He scoffed; no microwave in a restaurant of their caliber. Wow.
