Love the handmade noodles. I wasn't sure what halal meant at first, but nice they practice it for the food served there.

The owner and chef of this place is a Chinese woman who cooks halal food. Basically think Kosher...the meat obtained in more humane, quick methods. It's a large place. The left side is set up for smaller groups, the right side has large family sized tables that seat mostly 8-10. The food is... read more

Great Chinese food. Been here a few times and everything was very good. Definitely try the honey walnut shrimp. Seems like the quality of everything here (even the rice) is a level above the typical Chinese place, so it justifies the prices that are also a bit higher than typical. Outdoor seating is nice and serene, service is good.

We live near Sacramento and Always go to Nomad when visiting family in Long Beach. The curry fried rice is a must... I like it with beef. We also always get the spicy green beans. Jalapeño chicken is fantastic too. Literally everything is wonderful and the entire staff is friendly and helpful. Love this place!

For each ethnic food we have one favorite, and Nomad Asian Bistro is our favorite. It is a slightly different take on "Chinese" food, but well worth you trying Nomad. They have a wondferful Egg-Drop Soup. Our favorite dishes are: Seasonal Vegetables, Orange Beef (not often found), Orange Chicken and any rice dish. We often get Linda as our server,... More

We have been wanting to try this place as it is so close to our home. We were so pleasantly surprised how wonderful the food was and such huge portions. The Honey Walnut Shrimp is so delish and you get SO MANY shrimp....Also the Filet Beef Dish was excellent. I am now upset that we have not been there before... More

The food is very tasty and served in large portions. I liked the spicy eggplant, the black pepper beef and the mango cake. The hot and sour soup and the chicken dumplings were just average. The restaurant has sparse decorations. The art work is for sale about what you would see at a flea market. The service was good. The... More

I can't believe I didn't find this place sooner! Craving some good Chinese, I decided to give this place a try based on the high yelp ratings and it didn't disappoint! The food is delicious and the portions are very generous (big plus): I love a good meal and there's nothing worse that skimpy portions when you're hungry. And the... More

So many great choices, but do start with the beef rolls. Portions are large and flavor varied. We tried the orange chicken and ribs which both had wonderful flavor. The staff is charming and sweet. I look forward to introducing more friends and family to this hidden spot.
