We were met by a small elderly man at the door that was eager to welcome us to the establishment. To our surprise this was George and he was spectacular. The service was great and the food fabulous. Our server was very nice and helpful. Overall great experience eating at this sidewalk cafe.

Our family loved dining here. We even celebrated my son's birthday party here recently. Food is excellent and in large servings. Servers are friendly and fun. We always enjoy dining here.

The Friday night special (Kleftico) is roasted lamb that sells out and I highly recommend it. The lamp Souvlaki and Gyro are also delicious. The Saganaki is a popular choice and we ordered hummus and the spicy feta dips. Depending on your comfort level of spice, the spicy feta does have a kick. For dessert we order the greek cookies,... Consitantly good food and service. Not to pricey. The Greek salad is one of my favorite things on the menu. The gyro is also excellent. They have two locations one on 2 no street in Belmont Shore and a larger one on Pine Street downtown Long Beach.

One of my favorite restaurants on Pine Avenue, George's is always superb. I love their Chicken Souvlaki so I always have a hard time trying anything else, but this time I did! I tried the Build Your Own Grill with Lamb chops and Filet Mignon Souvlaki. Absolutely melt in your mouth amazing. The lamb chops were perfectly seasoned and cooked,... More

George's has been around for a long while now and is consistently great every time we go, year after year. The staff is friendly and willing to bend over backwards for you. And, if you are a vegetarian or pescatarian I have good news for you: It is the best in the area for you. The fish dishes are delish... More

I went here a while ago with my dad and his girlfriend. It is a local spot here, very casual, but the food and service were great. The owner came up and talked with us and it really added to the warmth of feeling like you were having a special meal, not just being served.

Opa. A popular & personal spot, and a favorite-special for their Souvlakia chicken: Skewered cuts-of-boneless-chicken-breast marinated in fresh lemon juice, extra-virgin olive oil, greek spices and grilled to perfection. Healthy & tasty. Another favorite is the salmon - George's is one place, time-after-time, again and again, to order salmon. It is fresh fish here. And grilled in a marinate of... More
