We have been to the Belmont and Lakewood locations numerous occasions. Especially enjoy going on Monday nights when wine is 1/2 off! Just used the Pine Ave. location for dinner at the POPs concert. For $20 per person, they delivered the food (appetizer, salad, rice, 3 entrée choices, and dessert), plus provided plates, napkins and flatware. The table was set... More

Everything was perfect. The server was sweet and attentive and our meals were delicious. I didn't expect to find a fantastic greek place on my trip to Long Beach, but when I'm back in town I will return here. We had the flaming cheese to start with. Opa! I had the gyro pita sandwich for my entree with the garlic... More

Was in Long Beach for the Marathon. We used Trip Advisor for this place. It had a very good rating. We went, (3 of us). The guy as the host, George, was very nice and friendly. The flat bready was really good. But the Salmon and Salads were very plain, over cooked and frankly not good.

We started with the flaming cheese, delicious and fun!I had the kale salad with pumpkin seeds and my boyfriend and daughter gyros. The music, staff and outdoor atmosphere couldn't have been a greater day!

We love Greek food! Unfortunately George's needs work. We love the flambé cheese...the rest of the lamb and chiken was dry. Food looks beautiful in white plates or China dishes...when the food is crowded all over, it is not a pleasant site. Patio dinning is nice in a beautiful night, service good and charmingly attentive. The evening was nice in... More

Stumbled onto this place while looking for a bite to eat. The food was very good, plentiful and the prices were very reasonable. The staff there is very friendly and accommodating.

You start with a kiss from the owner at the door - where else do you get that! I've been to 3 different locations and like them all. The food is consistently excellent and the service is always good. I especially enjoy sitting outside in the downtown and Lakewood locations.

We love our local, Greek restaurant, George's. Whenever my husband, and I are needing a relaxing night out, friendly service, and delicious spanokopita or lamb chops, we head here. One of the highlights of our meal is the saganaki, set aflame tableside with a generous amount of fresh lemon juice and a shout of, "Opa!"; it is a cheese lover's... More

I love George,s. The lamb chops are to die for and the spanokipita is the best I have had anywhere. Also the Friday night only lamb dish ( can't remember name) is excellent.
