I made a point of eating here because of all the good I've heard. Turns out the food is very tasty & since I'm Lebanese I'm very familiar with this food. I thought the decor was beautiful & warm but I admit being surprised by how small it is. Server was friendly but didn't take initiative without being asked on... More

Great food and great service. I would highly recommend eating there. They were great to modify my meal for my food allergies.

There are several places to get Mediterranean food on 2nd Street but Open Sesame is at the top of the list. The décor is charming and the service is above average. I would go hungry as the portions per entrée are enough for two people and there may even be food leftover. I would HIGHLY recommend the crispy potatoes as... More

Among the friendliest spots on 2nd Street, Open Sesame has such lovely Lebanese specials that I will even brave dinnertime parking to go there. It's a tight fit, and you can get to know everyone at the adjoining tables, but their kafta plates, appetizers (some of them, I can't spell), salads and even wines make a perfect casual evening that... The falafel pita is so good, you will think there is meat in it! Order it with whole wheat pita, as it tastes much better than the non whole wheat version and is fresher. The fried cauliflower is actually their best dish; we get this pretty much every time we go, as an appetizer; it will surprise you! The other... More

I loved the food presentation, decor and cleanliness of Open Sesame. Everything we ordered was yummy and fresh. Will definitely go there again.

I've been to Open Sesame several times now over at least a ten year period and can say that they consistently have great food. I will say that I haven't tried a diverse selection, but everyone that I've gone with has had different meals and I've never heard anything but good feedback. Go for some labne as a starter with... Very small place, but 2 locations now. Located on 2nd St so lots of activity and places to stroll before and after dining. The food is SUPERB! One of my absolute favorite places to eat. I recommend this place to others, all the time. Would be completely possible for me to eat here once a week...and I have :)

Excellent food, very healthy, and the price is reasonable. Business is so good that they have a second location on the same block. You can't go wrong at all.

The food is great here if you like Lebanese food. The garlic sauce and the fried potatoes are out of this world. The area is very cute to walk too. You will not be sorry to eat here. No reservation so you have to wait for your turn.
