It gad been several months maybe even a tear since I had eaten at open sesame. This was because it is always a wait to get a table. My husband and I decided to wait. We were seated at the location on the corner. We sat at a very small table in the middle of the restaurant. The restaurant had... More

My husband and I read the reviews on Trip Advisor for this restaurant and all I can say is DITTO to all the wonderful things people said. Our server, Laura, was so attentive and gave us some terrific recommendations. The Fried Potatoes are a MUST and don't forget the garlic sauce. We also had the Open Sesame Combo which gives... More

Some of the best food in Long Beach!! Very good service, and always busy, so expect a wait. Our favorites are the Chicken Tawook and Fried Potatoes. Only downside is the wait and it gets very noisey...so we often order takeout!! You can order on-line and pick it up in a relatively quick amount of time!

I was very impressed from the beginning to the end! Checking in on a busy night was easy. We were able to walk around on 2nd street while waiting for our table ..then they texted us when table was ready. The staff were very inviting and friendly and the owner was out also greeting people and talking to people like... More

We were debating whether to go to Open Sesame or Magic Lamp. Open Sesame won out based on Tripadvisor reviews. The food was fine and the service was relatively fast. While we enjoyed sitting outside and observing the passers-by on 2nd Street, seating was pretty cramped. Also, even though three of the four in our party were at the restaurant... More

Don't be discouraged if there's a line; it's worth the wait. I've been comingmsincemthe first week they opened, and the food has only gotten better with time. Potatoes with garlic are a standout, as are the pita with zatar, ,the mixed barbecue, the falafel, the hummus (I like it spicy), the mint tea, the desserts. It's a particularly appealing restaurant... More

Overrated. Long waits and poor service. Too many other great restaurants on 2nd. Terrible wine and very overpriced ETOH for the quality of wine.

Parking was a little hassle, food was amazing, waitresses were very courteous, seemed little pricey but the taste beat it. Will recommend..will go there again.

Went here to celebrate a birthday with two very good friends who live locally and eat here a lot. Our first experience with Lebanese Cuisine, and it certainly will not be our last. We were lucky that we had friends to recommend items from the menu, but the waiter was extremely helpful as well, so don't be shy to ask... More
