I had a business incentive luncheon at L'Opera. The staff was very accommodating in suggesting menu items for my guests who needed gluten and dairy-free selections. They offered varying menu prices per guests to that I was able to estimate the cost in advance. We had a quiet private room that was great for a business luncheon. All the guests... More

Get ready for great garlic. The taponade/oil dip for the excellent bread was superb. Excellent veal picatta, BIG and rich cioppino. Everything made to order. Service good early in the meal when the restaurant wasn't busy but deteriorated some toward the end of the meal. Long time to get dessert and longer to obtain the check. Mediocre view of the... More

We ate here for dinner. We had a nice table by the window. Our service was on the slow side, but our drinks were always filled in a timely manner. All the pasta dishes that we ordered were excellent. The wine list is nice and there is something for everyone. The pasta dishes are on the small side. The appetizers... More

Everything was well-prepared and tasty with excellent wait staff. Were there for wedding rehearsal dinner and put in the basement room which was stuffy. Especially for over 30 people! Didn't much care for that. Better circulation is needed.

L'Opera consistently and culinarily wins over audience, very similar to a long-running performance or Opera. It pleases on every note. Some weeks I enjoy lunch and dinner, on back-to-back days however the menu never is out-dated. The "Speciali Del Giorno" often includes a succulent Risotto Di Manzo. This Italian arborio (short-grain rice) was sautéed with tender, flavorful beef strips; asparagus... More

We had dinner with a large group at L'Opera. The upstairs was a lovel and inviting space, however unfortunately our group had dinner in the basement which was dark and a bit dingy with a funny old building smell. Service was great and the food served buffet style was tasty.

Amazing lasagna! The meat sauce and fresh chopped tomatoes the the spinach lasagna noodles were perfect. Nebiollo wine was the perfect complement. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and wine offerings. An excellent dining experience. By the way, the atmosphere was a 5-star!

The place looks great, the staff is incredible and the food is excellent. A bit pricey but worth it. This is definitely worth the time, and money. There is nothing bad to say.
