Amazing food, great service, ambiance

We have been eating here for 25 years and it keeps getting better. The food is great, the decor and pleasant atmosphere are great, the service is great. Lunch is a breeze, usually with plenty of on-street parking around on Pine Ave and side streets. Dinner is time to use the valet ($8 if you... read more

I think that I first visited L'Opera well over 20 years ago . I was impressed by the service, quality of food, and ambiance. I visited a few times over the course of a few years and then moved away to San Francisco. When I returned to the area, I wasn't sure whether I thought it was great because I... More

Great place. Highly recommended. Osso bucco outstanding. Service and management first class. Gray ambiance and music.

Self proclaimed in their window as one of the best in a very food trendy area. Food snobs probably won't agree and will prefer trendier spots close by. Prices are high and food average when you want to be wowed. Lasagna was different heavy with basil but fresh. The lobster risotto at $25 had nice flavor but was pasty not... More

Went for a birthday dinner with my husband. It has been many years since I had been there and had high expectations. The food was absolutely incredible - we split the calamari and would have eaten more but we didn't want to get ahead of ourselves; split a butternut squash ravioli; he ordered a steak and I the rack of... Let me start by saying this restaurant sits right downtown Long beach. Valet parking or parking lot right across from restaurant. Reservations highly recommended. The favorita pasta is a highly recommended. The spinach and beet linguine noodles are to die for. Topped with crab and i will order this again and again. The hostess an servers are friendly and knowledgeable... More

This restaurant was so close to our hotel. Very near long beach convention center. The restaurant was beautiful and dramatic. Clean and the staff was terrific at making food and drink suggestions. The wine list was quite extensive but I actually got an amazing hoppy IPA. I also had the lobster risotto which was so filling and very good. Our... More

Great food, not as expensive as it looks. Very good drinks. Been there at least 6 times and they were all good.

Wonderful place to bring guests to experience fine dining. Service is great as is the menu. Have attended private functions as well as family dinners. They all work.

Stopped in for Dinner on a recent business trip to Long Beach. The setting is interesing in an old Bank building. They have done a nice job with the atmosphere, it a combination of intimate and vibrant. I was very happy with my pre-dinner cocktail; a Bullit Rye Old Fashion; the Bartender nailed it perfectly. Unfortunately after that I was... More
