Very good. Pricey

The food was very good here. The prices were a little high for the meals. Menu had a good selection of items. The servers were excellent!

Was invited to a large customer event in Feb and it was an awesome evening with great food, great wine and friendly/funny waiters who made us feel very welcome ! We were served a selections of antipasti, followed by a small small and maindisch was veal. A chocolate dessert was finally presented and we all thought the wood are well... More

This restaurant is a classic, housed in a former bank. The result, elegant ceilings and interesting design details. Subtle and complimentary lighting enhanced by great windows. Fabulous bar. Service five star. The evening I dined the owner was seated at the bar enjoying dinner. Always a good sign. I enjoyed a fine glass of wine and a delicious pasta dish.... More

You wanna just get away after a long day at work but don't want the hustle and bustle of driving in rush hour traffic. Well, Take A Field Trip!!! My friend surprised me and we started at Labrea and Jefferson station on the MetroLink headed towards Long Beach. The trip didn't take that long. Our exit was the last one... More

I love this restaurant! Had not been there for a couple of years but went again recently and it was sooooo fabulous. Love the service and the environment. Wonderful salads. Great Carpaccio. Gnochi perfect. Osso Bucco a little dry but fabulous gravy; Excellent pasta. Very willing to accommodate your needs and tastes. Terrific Desserts.

After many years, my husband and I decided to return for happy hour on a late Monday afternoon. When we arrived, we noticed that there were just a few people at the bar area. The architecture is distinct and classic with marbled floors and other appointments from the 1920s. We chose a bar top and the bartender promptly offered us... More

Located close to the Convention Center. A little crowded but worth the wait. Very nice Italian food. Service was great. April will take care of you. Went for a business dinner, nice atmosphere, and a wide variety of Italian food. Pretty good wine list, fairly priced. The formaggi misti was excellent. All the pasta choices we chose were excellent. We... More

Fabulous food, wine and service, spoiled for choice there were so many great items on the menu. Reilly was really good and provided just the right balance in terms of service, his beer suggestion - an Oregan brew was spot on as was the Davies Pinot Noir! We'll be back!

I have eaten at L'Opera twice. My most recent visit was Feb 2015. The meal was superb. Our party was a group of 5 and the waiter worked with the kitchen so that each appetizer was served with enough quantity to accommodate all five diners. The waiter also selected the bottles of wine for our dinner and the wines that... More

This is the most elegant and romantic restaurant in the South Bay. The Italian dishes and exquisite wines remind us of our trips to Italy. The staff includes some of the nicest and kindness serving staff in southern California. I enjoy sharing L'Opera with my friends and family.
