Cocktails...perfect! Food...perfect! Service...perfect! Prices...perfect! Quality...perfect! I think I've covered it all. ---------- On a Saturday night, make sure you call ahead for a table. It really gets busy.

Good food, good service, good prices, nice atmosphere.. You have the feeling you are in a posh restaurant, but the prices are amazingly affordable.

Great experience!! I had veal and my wife had cannelloni. Very good. The service was excellent. Atmosphere was clean and classy. The reason they call it L'opera is a real opera singer will serenade you while you eat. This is what I look for when I go out of town with my wife. Bravo! Chow!

I ate here quite a long time ago with my wife. We were going to the Long Beach Terrace Theater but the experience stayed with me so much so I vowed I would never go back. From the outside, there are smartly dressed waiters with pristine attire giving top class service to very elegant clientele. But when you are inside,... More

We have been eating here for 25 years and it keeps getting better. The food is great, the decor and pleasant atmosphere are great, the service is great. Lunch is a breeze, usually with plenty of on-street parking around on Pine Ave and side streets. Dinner is time to use the valet ($8 if you don't get L'Opera's validation, $6... More

I think that I first visited L'Opera well over 20 years ago . I was impressed by the service, quality of food, and ambiance. I visited a few times over the course of a few years and then moved away to San Francisco. When I returned to the area, I wasn't sure whether I thought it was great because I... More

Self proclaimed in their window as one of the best in a very food trendy area. Food snobs probably won't agree and will prefer trendier spots close by. Prices are high and food average when you want to be wowed. Lasagna was different heavy with basil but fresh. The lobster risotto at $25 had nice flavor but was pasty not... More

Went for a birthday dinner with my husband. It has been many years since I had been there and had high expectations. The food was absolutely incredible - we split the calamari and would have eaten more but we didn't want to get ahead of ourselves; split a butternut squash ravioli; he ordered a steak and I the rack of... Let me start by saying this restaurant sits right downtown Long beach. Valet parking or parking lot right across from restaurant. Reservations highly recommended. The favorita pasta is a highly recommended. The spinach and beet linguine noodles are to die for. Topped with crab and i will order this again and again. The hostess an servers are friendly and knowledgeable... More
