A retro experience worth the time

This is a review of the Mary as a tourist site. Be aware it is a hotel property also and a pretty nice one at that. The tours and history of the ship is entertaining and visually inspiring. Probably the best thing for me was finding out all to active venues on board from bars to restaurants. Plan... read more

This is my second time visiting the queen Mary. The first time was going to the restaurant and doing some sight seeing and I heard that the ship has 314 bedrooms and I was like wooow. There is nothing as nice as sleeping and waking up to a beautiful view. The hotel is super neat (A deck) and the staffs... More

A worthwhile attraction when in the area, service is a bit lacking. Ticket window was VERY slow, even though we were clearly coming off a cruise ship and gave our bags to bell-check, he sent us to buy tickets. After spending almost $300 on tickets, we found out that cruise ship passengers were allowed to tour through for free. We... More

Went to dinner, and after walk around the ship. Beautiful views of the Bay and the city of Long Beach. All the hallways are full of history pictures of all the famous people that cruised on the Queen Mary. Love reading about all the history behind the ship.

I've been to the Queen several times for business meetings, always great staff, food is good, and you can tell there were some grand times on the ol' girl. I have not stayed there over night...I think I will just because of the stories....scary ones the person that said it was old and dirty, shouldn't be staying on a ship... More

This is definitely a must stop if your visiting the long breach area. The history that is on this ship is amazing. This is something the whole family can enjoy. If you want some haunted stories make sure to take the tour so you can get some insight on the history and souks that's suppostly still roam on the Queen.

We spent the last night of our holiday at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food superb. The Ship is interesting and obviously has a lot of history and the tour would have been interesting.

I would never tell anyone to stay here. This place is disgusting and has no air conditioning! It is old and dirty and no microwave or fridge. Stay anywhere else but here.

Celebrated New Year's Eve on the Queen Mary past few years. You would think being seated in a large room with lots of people would not be the best experience...but far from that! It was great. Excellent buffet. Service is outstanding. The staff is phenomenal. Book early!
