A fun historic stop

The Queen Mary is a fascinating cruise liner from another era, now permanently anchored in Long Beach and serving as a hotel and tourist attraction. The staterooms are not modern, but are larger than we expected and very comfortable. The bathroom of course is tiny with confusing fixtures. It's fun... read more

I enjoyed reading and listening to the history of the QM. It is a beautiful ship with it's historic classic craftsmanship and decor. I really wanted to stay onboard overnight but after 'wandering' around and exploring the hallways where the guest rooms were, I was a little spooked. I just couldn't imagine myself getting much sleep after hearing all the... More

Don't go to the mighty Paranormal Tour- it was $41 per person for two hours and nothing was remotely entertaining. We know of course not to expect a ghost but assumed they would turn off lights in the 'paranormal' areas, tell spooky stories etc. But no, they kept the lights on and our tour guide just told some very lame... The Chowder House was really delicious! The lobster cocktail was a pleasant surprise. You will not be disappointed with the chowder!

This tea room has good potential to be one of the best tea rooms in the area. It could use a few improvements. THE LOCATION: 5/5 The best thing they have going is the location, which is aboard the historic Queen Mary. The tea room itself was a bit hard to find. We had to ask 2 people for directions... More

We ate at the seafood restaurant that was good but nothing out of the ordinary. We took the "ghost tour" and that was ok. We will probably never go back because it just wasn't memorable or that much fun to warrant what they charge for the parking or for the packages.

This is a review of the Mary as a tourist site. Be aware it is a hotel property also and a pretty nice one at that. The tours and history of the ship is entertaining and visually inspiring. Probably the best thing for me was finding out all to active venues on board from bars to restaurants. Plan to spend... More

This is my second time visiting the queen Mary. The first time was going to the restaurant and doing some sight seeing and I heard that the ship has 314 bedrooms and I was like wooow. There is nothing as nice as sleeping and waking up to a beautiful view. The hotel is super neat (A deck) and the staffs... More

A worthwhile attraction when in the area, service is a bit lacking. Ticket window was VERY slow, even though we were clearly coming off a cruise ship and gave our bags to bell-check, he sent us to buy tickets. After spending almost $300 on tickets, we found out that cruise ship passengers were allowed to tour through for free. We... More
