Slightly eerie

Not something you do every day. It is interesting if not slightly spooky. You have good acces around the ship. Many interesting aspects. Ate at one of the restaurants and is was fine, great view over LA at night. Just slightly shabby. Just think that

I highly recommend visiting the Queen Mary. It's a wonderful piece of maritime history! You'll see and hear about the many people who travelled on this ship.

We stayed at this hotel and had several meals at the Chelsea Chowder House and Bar. The food here is superb and the service was excellent. The chowder was very tasty and the salmon was delicious! We also had a spinach and steak salad and an ahi tuna salad, both of which were very satisfying. There is also a "Starbucks"... More

Not good. Overpriced, which is not a deal killer if the food and service is excellent, which, in this case, it was not. Had the specialty of the house (beef Wellington). Very disappointing. Service was strained. Too bad, since it is an interesting venue.

This is a great place to stay for a night and tour the ship and take in the history of sailing. The experience of opulence ends when it comes to service. Don't get me wrong, there are great staff members who are super friendly but you are not going to experience the service of days gone by with the environment.... More

I am a widow on a limited income but thought this would be fun and so splurged and paid the vip price for 2. We had to wait in line, in the cold, in heels and while hair was straightening for 1 1/2 hours. The site said Hollywood room opens at 7PM and so we allowed for that. Decent snacks... More

Went there for New Year's Eve and it was poorly organized, there are not enough places inside for everyone to be and on the outside it is freezing! If you want to sit down, it is almost impossible! To grab a drink you have to stand in line for a long time! The only good thing are the fireworks, the... More

I am so glad we went here from Malibu. The ship was elegantly maintained and miniature ship replicas were so cool looking. The Sunday champagne brunch was phenomenal. All you can drink champagne and orange juice. Add them together and whala!!! Mimosa!!! The buffet spread was amazing. My favorite is the seafood section. Love the crabs that were precut in... More

We had Sunday Brunch at the Queen Mary before taking a Norwegian cruise to Mexico in mid-December and thought it was a fantastic experience! The raw bar was incredible, and so was the whole poached salmon. There was a wide variety of food options - more than we could possibly try - breakfast foods, a carving station, Asian, Mexican, antipasti... More
