Nice surprise!

I hadn't been back to the Gaucho Grill in years, admittedly because we fell for Fogo de Chao, and it's endless bounty of grilled meats. However when we heard Gaucho Grill had opened in nearby Long Beach and it was participating in DineLA week, it was a no brainer. Nicely located on N. Pine Street, as you enter there is... More

We were expecting more, given the reviews tended toward very good/excellent. The inside seating was cramped, with small tables. Others have commented on the slow service, which we experienced (although to be fair, we weren't in a rush). I think the most disappointing aspect was the food. The "Argentinian Specialty Steak" was like a flat iron steak and came with... More

We wanted to have an early Linner (Dinner/Lunch) due to the fact we would be attending a L.A. Kings game later that night and didn't want anything to heavy before the game. We went to Gaucho Grill as it was close by the Fletcher Jones Mercedes dealership and we had taken our car in for routine service. We arrived around... More

On a recent business trip to Long Beach, my co-workers and I ate dinner at the Gaucho Grill on the recommendation of a local patron. We all ordered some variation of the New York Sante Fe Steak dinner, which was excellent. the sauteed mushrooms on top of my steak were very flavorful, making my meal delicious. My total bill was... My DH and I went to Gaucho Grill because we had a Groupon deal. We'd never eaten in an Argentinian restaurant and all I can say is Wow! Are we glad we did!! Everything was top notch! The skirt steak was tender and delicious! Everything else was equally as good! The calamari was tender and crispy! The wine was wonderful!... More

Very authentic argentinian cuisine place. Classy atmosphere, delicious food and holly wine selection. $$$ its pricy, but who said good wine is cheap. Lol. Not enough staff so your order will take a bit to get taken. Worth the wait. Che boludo!

ucho is a regular good-eating good stop for me. Healthy eating (try the chicken empanadas grilled for an additional $.50 coupled with The Managers' Salad. The spinach-fettuccine and meatballs are tasteful & plentiful too. The small space makes for a close-chat business luncheon or an intimate dinner-date. On some weekend evenings a Flamingo Guitarist provides for enchantment.

We used a restaurant certificate and enjoyed the discount. The food was fine, nothing great nothing horrible. The table, outside immediate to the sidewalk, was amazingly sticky. Sticky like having to.physically seperate themenu from the table and hear the zip. We moved over to be greeted by the same thing. Odd at best. I solved it by placing a napkin... More
