You can always depend on Michael's.

This has been a 'go to' for us for years, first time back since Chianinna opened. We started at the bar at 5:20 with Pete, the mixologist. It was his birthday, as well as his last day. He was leaving to fly over the pond and start a new chapter in London. This did nothing to impair his superior... read more

I had read many great reviews about this restaurant, so we asked some friends to join us. We got there right at 5 when they opened, but were informed we couldn't be seated until 615. Strange because many tables remained empty, even throughout our dinner. The bartenders were quite inattentive, never offering us a menu. Both seemed preoccupied and even... More

Went there for dinner with the family and was surprised by how good everything tasted from the arugula salad to the pizza and peach cobbler with ice cream. Yum!!

A friend spent the weekend with us and we topped it off with Dinner at Michael's. It did not disappoint. The wait staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and always gives great recommendations. Kevin, the manager, stopped by our table and chatted with us for a while - we do love that in a restaurant as it is not just... More

Met some friends here from out of town. It was midway between LA and Orange County and it worked out perfectly. We had a really nice leisurely dinner. The atmosphere was perfect for catching up and the staff was really cooperative. The meal was good with plenty of selections. Not knock your socks off, but certainly really good.

This is fine Italian dining, from the menu to the wine list. The upstairs patio is also very comfortable.

My husband and I live in Hawaii, however our family is in California and when ever we come to visit, we go to Michael's. It is always wonderful, creative food, with good service and a nice atmosphere...however, this is the second time we are wondering why , when you order desert and ice cream, the portion is about a teaspoon.... The place is nice, clean and has good lighting. The service was great but the food was not what I expected. The pasta was thick , maybe I don't like home made pasta. I went with a group of four people and I tried everyone's dish and three our of the four dishes didn't taste like anything. The chicken dish,... More

Try to come here often, as every visit is as memorable. Service staff is top notch, and the food is world class. Exceptional wine list as well.

I went back to Michael's this week since I wanted to validate my opinion from the first visit. I think the food here is over-rated and over-priced. This time I ordered the prosciutto & fig, and zuppa di pesce (seafood soup). The antipasto had mainly figs with tiny pieces of prosciutto. More like figs with prosciutto - very disappointing. The...
