The waiter was super helpful, the view is lovely and the food was excellent. We ate outside on a beautiful August evening. Recommend reservations on a Saturday night.

Ate here with the family in early August. Excellent atmosphere...busy, TV screens, tables inside & out. Draft beers available. Seafood was great. As were the steaks. Not more to say...good choice for a reasonable price right on Long Beach.

Great drink specials and mussels, too tasty sourdough bread, you'll eat it all! Overlooking the water. wonderful!

Stopped in at Gladstone's for lunch. I ordered the Ahi Tuna sandwich, and found it disappointing. Three layers of bread (too much bread), and the Ahi was simply not fresh. It was off color and smelled fishy. Just not the kind of thing you expect when you are right next to the Pacific Ocean. My wife had an equally disappointing... More

Came here for a wedding rehearsal party. My initial impression was not good since the reception would not seat us in our private party location till closer to the reservation time. They herded us into the bar even though we were 10 of the 50 expected guests and we had the 84 yr old grandmother with us. I think they... More

I'm not a seafood fan. I had a headache and the restaurant was loud and busy. That being said, I ordered the fish & chips and a lettuce wedge salad. Didn't realize we'd get sourdough bread too. I would have been completely content with the bread. Food was ok. "Chips" were fries, not English chips that should come with fish.... More

I ate dinner at Gladstone's on a Monday night with a work colleague. We were able to get a table right away and chose to sit outside. The patio was very nice and I would recommend sitting outside. The server was very friendly and gave us information about the menu as we were not familiar with some of the items.... More

We read all the great reviews on Gladstone's so were excited to eat dinner there. Little did we know it's basically a chain-type restaurant like Chili's or Applebee's that serves seafood at exhorbitant prices. The food was less than mediocre. I got a shrimp skewer that cost $25 and had only 5 tough, chewy, overcooked shrimp. It had Hawaiian inspired... More

Had dinner at Gladstones with some colleagues on a recent business trip. The location is great, being right on the Pine boardwalk. The menu selection was also good, with some nice fish dishes. I recommend the fish tacos, as they were very good and you get a big serving. I'd definitely consider eating at this restaurant again on a future... More

Stopped in for a cold one after walking around Shoreline Village. Needs to be spruced up, felt run down. Very nice waitress in the bar (Katie). Other than that the menu didn't appeal to us.
