This was our 3rd visit to George's out of 4 annual trips to Long Beach. I lived in Greece and am very picky about Greek food. George's delivers on every dish! From the Village Greek Salad (no lettuce, tons of Kalamata olives!) to the house made dressing to the pastitsio, all delicious and authentic. We tried a delicious dip of... More

We were visiting naples, long beach & went to Georges Cafe for lunch. A nice restaurant with great good & good ambiance. We a few cold Hillas, Greek Beer, and some delicious Spanakopitas & Beef Gyros. Everything was great.

We went there for lunch with some business associates. Despite, the restaurant being very busy, our food was prepared pretty fast. I had the Chicken Gyro & my associates had beef Gyro plate. Everything including the Greek salad were perfect and the olive oil was just great. We all thought the cost was actually low. I hope the owners don't... More

I was in Long Beach for four nights on business and George's was my favorite. The food was fresh and the drinks were cold. The waitress recommended their special custard for dessert. Although I don't normally eat custard she was convincing. It was fabulous. Glad I listened.

Enjoyed my second visit to George's - this time the smaller outlet on 2nd Street in belmont Shores section of Long Beach. Had lunch of greek salad with chicken and humus. Excellent choice - fresh and tasy. Great watching the street life and the staff was attentive and competent. Would definitely go back - solid value with very good food... More

Your going to pay a little more For your meal because it is on second street. Service was outstanding, five start. Lamb was very good as well as the chicken. Metered parking.

Ate here last week with my sister in law. We were shopping on second street and this was an inviting atmosphere. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the weather. The only drawback is the loud noise from traffic. Sit inside if quiet conversation is your goal. The food was very good, the restrooms clean and we had good service. The... More

I live around the corner and never get tired of George's. Good reasonably priced food and great service. I often meet friends for a mid week meal. The Greek salad with salmon is enough for two fingers and delicious. Order the flaming saganaki cheese and enjoy a festive table side treat...OPA!!! And on a cold day enjoy the lemon soup.... More

Real Greek food-not the fast-food variety-excellent flavor, ample portions, perfect service, decent prices. Staff and management checked on us often-beverage glasses stayed full. We were even treated with a complimentary desert (delicious baklava!) These folks take obvious pride in their restaurant-super clean dining rooms and restrooms.
