We had lunch. Husband said his buger was good. I had half a blt and salad. Sandwich was a mess and I had to pick old ugly lettuce out of my salad. Plates were dirty. I got sick a few hours later.

Great little place with tasty, homemade food and good, friendly service. The place might be a little hard to find, with no fancy signs, but it is usually busy, especially with locals. Try an omelette, the excellent oatmeal, or fresh baked cinnamon roll. They also make sandwiches.

The Alabama Hills Cafe was recommended for breakfast. Everything on the menu sounded great! Small diner, great food, worth the wait! Perfect place for breakfast after a long hike!!

Stopped here after ten days of hiking. We were famished and the portions were large and tasty. The homemade breads were excellent.

We found this place on Yelp a few years back, and it's turned out to be a great tradition on our trips to or on our way back home. They are only open till 2pm so make sure you plan your drive accordingly. Great burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and breakfast too! We usually split and leave room for the homemade desserts!

The perfect western town diner and bakery. As we walked in, someone exited and said to their group that they should have shared a meal and gotten a piece of pie to share. Really wish I had taken their advice as the pie looked really good. Breakfasts were big portions. Lots of locals and hikers...all good signs.

This cafe which is just off the main road was a convenient place for us to stop from Death Valley to Yosemite. It is obviously popular with locals and hikers. There is an extensive menu with an impressive range of eggs done in all manners of styles and they also have huge good looking loaves of bread and cookies for... More

Returning home from a recent road trip my wife and I found ourselves passing through Lone Pine, CA. around lunch time and decided to stop for a bite to eat. We were looking for some place to park and after turning of the main road onto to a side street we found ourselves at the Alabama Hills Cafe and Bakery.... More

We stopped here for a late breakfast our trip from Death Valley to Yosemite. This was a good choice. The place was busy but we got a seat immediately. All the dishes were enjoyed (pancakes, eggs, sausages home fries, toast etc). The service was prompt if a little brusque. They close at 2pm. If staying or passing through it is... More

10am on a Saturday morning. Packed with a mix of locals, Euros, and other assorted travelers. We both had the Sierra scramble. Hardworking, cheerful staff. Best b-fast I've had out in quite some time. We'll deserving of its top rating. I just wish they served dinner.
