Decent eats

Kids loved the beignets. Not sure it's such a great idea to start the day with hyper-sugared children, but maybe we'll go to NOLA one day and they'll fit right in.

We have breakfast at Cajun 2 to 3 times a week. Nothing fancy, but it's satisfying. Servers are always friendly and attentive. Oatmeal with the works, grits, Donny's scramble, french toast combo are some of my favorites. Highly recommend for a good, relaxing breakfast.

Nothing in this small place is of new Orleans or from Louisiana, the wait service is rude and slow, they don't remember much and often get it wrong, maybe its the lompoc schools, food is better at the Santa Barbara location, at this one most of the cooking is done by some mexican guy who cooks like he's outdoors, he... Early AM breakfast of Scrambles Eggs & Sausage with Hash Browns, and the Eggs were half cooked. I should have returned it, but because I was with friends I just tried to eat the cooked parts. It didn't take long and I was sick for a week. Had Salmonella before, always from restaurant food, so I know the drill. This... More

The File Gumbo at the Cajun Kitchen is the best I've ever had! It's loaded with chicken and sausage and has just the right amount of rice to make for one very satisfying meal. Get the cornbread that is always served piping hot and you'll be in Cajun heaven. They also serve a great breakfast. My only complaint, they're not... More

Have been eating Sunday Breakfast at Cajun Kitchen for a few years now and always have enjoyed it. The staff is great and food very good with good size portions. Get a bit busy sometimes but well worth the wait....

Large portions & food is very good! Go hungry or take home leftovers & you'll have enough for dinner. This restaurant is only open breakfast-lunch & close at 2pm. Staff is friendly, but they get busy at times and so the meals are not quick. Jambalaya & gumbo is worth it!

Serving breakfast and lunch...there's almost always a wait. Local's favorite. Specializes in Cajun dishes. Great breakfasts, lunches, salads and sandwiches. Stop by on your way through town!

When you are bored with the ho-hum Breakfast and lunch options, you got to try this place. The breakfasts are what caught us with their thick bacon, yummy home fries and spicey selections but the different options for lunch is keeping us visiting when we can. Best Breakfast ever!
