This is not on the beach. The photo on Tripadvisor is not of this cafe. That's the Jalama Beach Grill. This place is in town, on E Ocean Avenue. It is part bar, part gift shop but mostly restaurant. It is good though! It got quite busy by 8.30pm so locals clearly agree. We both had the Steak and Lobster... More

Stopped in for lunch and it was excellent! Wish I was there a half hour earlier for breakfast. Only recommendation I have is to offer breakfast all day.

Had to come here and taste their signature burger - oh yes, that hit the spot. I had been recommended this place by a local, and its easy to see why it's a favorite with locals. Came just after lunch to make sure I got a seat - It's busy during the lunch rush but it's not so crammed after... More

This is an old-fashioned, small-town restaurant that is exceptionally well-cared for and up-to-date. Its arrangement is outstanding, with a large bar whose seating faces an array of giant TVs with the latest sporting events on (sometimes the news if nothing's going on, but never "The View" or anything). However, since the bar's in the back and its seating faces away... More

Great old fashioned cafe. Great burgers and salads. Stop in on your way through town. You'll be happy you did.

Had another outstanding lunch on Valentine's Day. Nice menu selections as well as the specials. The calamari was outstanding as well as the fish tacos. Friendly and efficient service is a real plus.

My wife and I were in Lompoc and we decided to try the Jalama Beacg Cafe. We ate at the Jalama Beach location back in Feb. We were surprised by the choices on the menu something for everyone. My wife had the Pot Roast with mashed potatoes and was very pleased to find out that the potatoes were fresh and... More

Lets Eat, down-to-earth food, met the manager, Steve, as I gave him my review, and he was very thankful, don't think he was up on Trip Advisor, but I mentioned to him to go on and write his commentary., but as I mentioned if you expect much more go to a...
