Nice dinner

Service was good and my burger was good. I still miss the old place but it seems like the food has improved since they first moved to this location.

I decided since I have been to the Texas Cattle Company in Lancaster a few times to try the one in Lompoc, where I was staying at a hotel for a couple of days. I ordered the potato skins, and even asked to add pepper jack to them. They came to me and it was like WHERE'S THE CHEESE?? And... More

The first site was a much better restaurant. It had some feeling of an old western steak house with a train that went around the restaurant overhead. The food seemed so much better in that little place. The new restaurant is a former Baker's Square and so it seems that is what it is with just a new name. We... More

With a name like the Texas Cattle Co, I guess I was hoping for more- something like a Saltgrass Steakhouse or a Texas Roadhouse. This restaurant looks like a dinner, like a Denny's and the food was average. It wasn't was I was expecting.

It was 9:30AM Saturday morning, we felt like eating breakfast out and most of the places we usually go, were really busy. When we drove by Texas Cattle we noticed the open sign was flashing and decided to give it a try. We thought they were a steak house. Yes, it is sort of 90's, but we don't object to... More

Came here at 5:30 on a Friday night. One car in the parking lot. Nuff said. Drove around a while and came back. Still had my " low level steak" light flashing. Guess what, $52 later, the light is still flashing. Food quality was below average in every category. Texas toast was probably fresh Thursday. Not recommended.

Customer service is great here. Burgers are the best and they have great dinners, steak, ribs, and fish. Many good appetizers too. Great family place.
