The food is good but not exceptional in any way. Sometimes the food is a little greasy but then many people like that and think it is more home cooked that way. It's a little restaurant where you can sit at the bar and eat or a table in a not so private setting. The restaurant is a couple blocks... More

Small local restaurant feeling; food was hot and served in a timely fashion - enough variety on the menu and portions were mostly fine. The omelets were indeed fluffy and the bacon thick! However, I was missing my omelet's third ingredient (spinach) and the 3-egg scrambled looked like 2 eggs - although I was told otherwise. So, this lowered it... More

My family's 3rd generation local to the area, so I have eaten here numerous times over the last 10? 12? 15? years. Food is classic diner Americana. Place is clean, portions are wonderfully large and possibly most importantly, they will substitute. They'll even make you a pot of extra strong coffee if you ask! Bacons always crisp and the service... More

everytime i got to this place, the food is always good 97% some items should be talken off, the soups mainly come from a can and depending on who mixed them they may taste ok and then some are nasty ( clam chowder) its either too watery or so thick its lumpy and not from clams or potatoe, the service... service is fast and food is excellent and a good value. Coffee not much better than poorly flavored water.

Hard to find location but good food. Service is between average and good depending on how busy they are. Pretty normal breakfast menu with good size portions and reasonable prices. Everything was prepared as ordered and good.

I've been here quite a few times. I come every weekend with friends or family and am very rarely disappointed. The staff is friendly, they fix any problems quickly, and the food is amazing. As for being a picky eater, I absolutely love their chicken fried steak, their biscuits and gravy, their soups and the banana/caramel waffles are just great.... More

The first visit was ok, nothing to rave about. The Waffles were good, just good. The coffee was tepid. The second visit was just awful. We must have been in stealth mode because we sat there for well over five minutes and NO SERVICE. One of the waitresses just gave surly stares over her glasses at us. We got up,... More

1/21/2013 Good food, very reasonable prices! Came in for breakfast with granddaughter (11) and I ordered scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and english muffin... she ordered the kids pancake egg and bacon ($2.95). Of course coffee for me, and hot chocolate for her. Almost all the food was prepared well, bacon was the only thing I could critique, it was... More
