Excellent breakfast

This is an old time diner. Their breakfasts are large, very good with great service. Bit of a wait on Sunday mornings. Could do with some sprucing up. I have only had breakfast here in the last few years. Previously I was not impressed with their dinners. Never had lunch here. There are booths... read more

Place is in dire need of a good cleaning and paint. Probably looks like it did when it opened in the '40's. Don't expect any kitchy ambience, there is none. Food was lacking in taste, and not a good value for the price. Service was very good, too bad the food wasn't worth eating. Plenty of parking in back.

This is a great little gem to go have breakfast or dinner at. The place has allot of Black & White photos of Lomita History. The food is good & the price is right. Good service & friendly wait staff. Even when busy the wait is never very long. Lots of FREE parking

Other than breakfast, I find their lunch or dinners lacking. Service wasn't as expected like breakfast. Meals I can get a McD, s cheaper.

A Lomita institution since 1948. It was an orginal drive up with car hops. Today it serves delicious family food at a reasonable price. Definitely a must when you visit Lomita, California

Hot n Tot was the great old historic place for this area for many years, with full scale model train running around the walls of the whole place, and a ton of Historic Pieces everywhere. But, its all Gone now with new ownership, the food was ok, but not as good as before, and the Menu is now way more... More

Very good American style breakfast, with good size portions that taste good. They also show its Southern California location with Pacific and Mexican influences, with dishes such as teriyaki chicken and Mexican dishes.

Excellent food, enormous portions, breakfast menu for 7 - 9USD in the week. You can have eggs, sausages, pancakes, omelettes, bacon ... Recommended!

Been coming here for years. The place has had a couple of owners and staff changes over the years and the quality of both food and service reflect that. Sometimes everything is perfect; other times, not so much. I am usually here for breakfast and my "regular" order is scrambled eggs with diced ham, scrambled soft, hash browns, and toast.... More
