Small town restaurant...big city Italian...eggplant lasagne today was to die for. Bread unbelievable. Crisp salad. Another had some of the best calamari I've seen. All in all ...I'm going back.

What a great find. Stopped for lunch, had chicken/shrimp spinach salad. Was actually a tomato salad with lots of chicken and shrimp on a bed of spinach with cucumbers, pepperchinis and a light vinaigrette dressing. The fresh capresse bruschetta was grilled to perfection, with lots of tomatoes and basil. The asparagus, pancetta pizza was also excellent. Service was superb. Definitely... More

The bread was delicious and a good start to the meal. The house salad had beans and cranberries which was surprisingly good. The veal Parmesan was so large we had to box half and take it with us. The McCay Zinfandel was a good complement. Our only suggestion would be to have food runners so that everyone got their food... More

There is a reason this place is #1 in LODI. It is THAT good. From the owner, to the busboy, everything is done to perfection. I travel for a living, and make sure I can stop here. Wonderful fresh bread, pasta, tomato sauces, salads, etc. This place would be awesome in any market, LA or NY. Lodi is lucky! Please... More

Had dinner with another couple and greatly enjoyed our meal. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. We were offered drinks and they were delivered promptly. The entrees were well presented and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the pairing of veal parmigana and ravioli. We were so full we couldn't even split a dessert. The bread was warm and nearly melted... More

Had lunch here twice during our vacation in Lodi. The service is quick & attentive. The hot bread was lovely and we devoured it immediately. My children chose from the kids menu. Good choice menu & very generous portions; its good that a restaurant offers the same food rather than chicken nuggets and chips. They had pizza, spaghetti bolognaise &... More

Good locally owned and operated, very authentic Italian Restaurant. They have large beds just outside the restaurant where they grow their own tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, etc., plus many herbs. Salads were fresh with homemade dressings. My wife had their Ravioli with meat sauce and it was very nice, but not great. I had Veal Saltimbocca, which was a little tough... More

Very Good Italian food & good service. Not the best Italian food I have ever had but very good for Lodi and in the top 10. Food was fresh and tasty, they have their own garden in the back. Great service. Good fresh baked bread included.

Pietro's is my favorite place to eat. It has such a great atmosphere and the food is wonderful. It is a little pricey but it is definitely worth it. If you're in Lodi, you need to try this place out. :)

Pietro's isn't in one of the "destination" sections of Lodi but it is more than worth venturing off the wine tour and downtown venues. The owners re-invented it a few years ago, remodeling the inside in a lovely Tuscan motif and adding an astounding garden to the exterior. Wandering through the garden in the summer on the way in to... More
