Fusion in the wine country

We love the variations on Asian and Classic cuisines and the brilliant wine list. Try the Cabernet Sauvignon from Mia Nipote winery, it is simply fantastic.

My wife and I often go to Uncle Yu's in downtown Livermore when we want delicious and tasty Chinese food. Atmosphere and location is excellent. Service is wonderful. Cost is quite reasonable. They also offer great luncheon specials at a very cost effective price. We strongly recommend it to others.

Beautifully decorated restaurant. A little pricey, but worth it. Eat here whenever in area and have never been disappointed.

Great Chinese food. Maybe the best upscale Chinese I've ever had. Puts PF Changs to shame. Although it is a little expensive, it's worth it. Large portions, and one order of rice can feed 4 people or more.

Uncle Yu's is simply the best in Chinese cuisine this area has to offer. Every item is fresh and delightful. If you need to go on the cheap, the Pad Thai noodles are a great dish to have. Of course, the experience is the best when you order lots of different dishes and share. Finish it off with the sorbet.... More

This place is always packed for a reason. The appetizers are all spectacular. The salt and pepper lobster tails are spicy and superb. Every entrée is awesome. Garlic noodles, Kung Pao Trio, and Mongolian Beef are our go to dishes. They have some spicy dumplings in a corn and curry sauce that is to die for. I usually save the... More

First time at Uncle Yu's, and glad we tried it. Haven't enjoyed this quality of Chinese food in a long while. Fresh ingredients, and well prepared meal. Especially liked the General Tsou's Chicken - not breaded and deep fried like other placed, but grilled and really tasty. The service was also first rate, and the place is really nice inside...
