Retirement Party

This was a Retirement Party that I attended. Seating was excellent, presentation of food was very nice and the servers were fantastic.

Uncle Yu's is simply the best in Chinese cuisine this area has to offer. Every item is fresh and delightful. If you need to go on the cheap, the Pad Thai noodles are a great dish to have. Of course, the experience is the best when you order lots of different dishes and share. Finish it off with the sorbet.... More

This place is always packed for a reason. The appetizers are all spectacular. The salt and pepper lobster tails are spicy and superb. Every entrée is awesome. Garlic noodles, Kung Pao Trio, and Mongolian Beef are our go to dishes. They have some spicy dumplings in a corn and curry sauce that is to die for. I usually save the... More

First time at Uncle Yu's, and glad we tried it. Haven't enjoyed this quality of Chinese food in a long while. Fresh ingredients, and well prepared meal. Especially liked the General Tsou's Chicken - not breaded and deep fried like other placed, but grilled and really tasty. The service was also first rate, and the place is really nice inside... A family favorite, every time in town head to here. The food is very good, the personal service is even better. Located next to the Flag pole in downtown Livermore, nice size bar area, lots of tables although not crowed. Food comes fast and the taste is very good, more on the elegant side, but something for everyone, even a... More

We went to celebrate a special time together, and it was certainly that. My husband usually doesn't like Asian foods, but I suggested something he might like, and like it he did! He wants to go back for another occasion we have coming up!

I went there for lunch with a friend. The decor is elegant and the staff were polite and efficient. My friend and I both ordered the Kung Po Chicken lunch special. It was served with a very good hot and sour soup and a chioce of rice dishes. The Kung Po Chicken, however, was awful. At first, it tasted good,... More

My second visit was just as good as my first time. The BBQ Sea Bass was awesome, soup was great, other chicken and seafood dishes made for a wonderful family-style dining experience. It has a become a required stop on each visit to Livermore!
