From their buffet style breakfast, to lunch, to dinner, I have sampled and enjoyed every meal. They have a great selection of beers on tap. No matter how busy they appear, they always seem to find a table in a pretty quick period of time.

Very good food, nice menu selections. The taco salad I had was very good tasting, a nice portion, and reasonably priced. The restaurant has a Sunday brunch which has a decent selection and a good price compared to other places. The service was excellent, nice people and very friendly. Ask to sit in Jordan's area, she was a great waiter.

We had no idea that First Street Ale house does a reasonably priced Sunday brunch until we went there with friends. Get there early (it opens at 8:30) for best seating and access to the buffet. There are omelette stations with chefs, breakfast foods, lunch foods, fruits, salads, breads, desserts, soups...it's terrific. A great value for the money.

Visited for brunch again last Sunday. The outdoor patio seating (expanded in the rear) is still the best in Livermore. They change up the buffet brunch just enough to keep it interesting. The Cajun Salmon is my favorite along with the soup (usually clam chowder). Will continue to come back every month or so. Arrive early (9am on Sundays) for... More

Family friendly, beer drinker friendly, couple friendly, solo friendly..... And the food is fantastic. This is an establishment in downtown Livermore and can't be missed. Try the grilled cheese of the week! Try the carnitas! TRY LOTS OF BEER!!! This is a can't miss if you're in town and I am usually here about once a week. Enjoy!

We love the Ale House, staff always friendly and accommodating, we usually sit outside because the noise level is quite high inside. I love the tri tip/blue cheese salad, very yummy, my boyfriend loves the Tri tip sandwich. Then there is the beers and Ale. Many local and artesian brews

Came here for a work do with about 40 of us. Excellent beer and good food. I guess it's the US version of a pub and it was quite enjoyable.
