I had the California burger which was amazing it has applewood bacon and guacamole on it. We also ordered the Ruben which was very delicious. Be sure to order fries. The restaurant us large. I didn't care for the hard rock music that was playing.

This is the most popular restaurant in Livermore! Expect to wait! Good Burgers and local Brew! Will cook burgers the way you want them! Kids like the tootsie pops that come with each meal!

Have the best beer ever. Love the watermelon beer. The nachos are great. Chicken sandwich is fresh and tasty.

I have had brunch here a few times. It is always very good, and reasonably priced. There is outside and inside seating available and both are pretty good.

Enjoyed hearty burgers and brews after a bit of wine tasting. California Burger and Bacon Cheeseburger were both big, juicy, and delicious with a plentiful side of fries. Outstanding menu of starters, sides, salads, sandwiches, meals for every taste. Wide selection of craft beers on hand. Indoor, outdoor seating, lively crowd, bustling atmosphere, and fantastic service. Fun place to visit... More

This is a busy little (not too little, actually) place in the busy heart of Downtown Livermore. The Alehouse matches the busy vibrancy of Downtown. There are MANY beers on tap, listed on a large chalkboard above the bar. While I only had a pint, and didn't eat, the foods I saw people get were amazing, big burgers, stacks of... More

Very good craft beer selection at reasonable prices. Food and service was great. Nice patio seating in front and rear of this nice brick building with ample parking behind. We'll be back!

We went to the movies and wanted a late night place to eat dinner - First Street Ale House was perfect for that. It was a pleasant summer night out with a full moon so we sat outside in their delightful patio area (Note: Their heat lamps there will keep you toasty warm). I ordered their superb barbecue chicken wings... More

I had the half pound mushroom burger which was very good. Service was great, and I loved the look and feel of the wide open saloon type atmosphere. Plenty of parking in the rear.
