Decent pub food everytime we have ordered. Typically get it to go. Wish they had ability to allow for online orders. On weekends you need to place to go order live, won't take it over the phone.

We met up with some friends for a beer after work and what a great time we had. We ordered the beer battered Cajun fries to go with our glasses of Kona Longboard and Snowshoe Grizzly Briwn beer. I've had the garlic fries and don't get me wrong, they are great but the Cajun fries are AWESOME! We were having... More

We love this place. Love that it is local, always friendly service, and best of all the food. If you love burgers, this is your place. The meat is seasoned perfectly, all the toppings are fresh, and the BEST onion rings I've ever had.

Nice selection of rotating beers, good pub style food. Great place to go with kids - lots of activity and very high noise level, so not really a date or romantic spot. Outdoor seating so that you can watch Livermore walk by!

I've always enjoyed the First Street Ale House, each visit has been very nice, good food and awesome beers. Service can be a little off at times, but more often than not, our servers have been great. Weekends, be prepared to wait, or try to arrive at off times. This is definitely my go-to place for eating in Downtown Livemore!

Great beer choices from local breweries. Food was slightly better than the typical establishment. Avoid the steak sandwich - greasy and too fatty. The PORK CARNITAS SANDWICH and CILANTRO-JALAPENO BURGER were both really, really good.

I have been to this place several times and each time it is as just as good as the last. They have great vegetarian options and the beer is amazing. I like a dark brew so the Dechutes Ale is my favorite. The fried pickles are amazing. If you live in the area or are visiting the area this place... More

Lunch visit passing through town. Great vibe. Patio seating on a sunny afternoon. Great little downtown scene. Thai beef salad was good. Other dish had house made chips. Very good. Of course, it is an Ale House...local beer from Altamont brewery was great.

If you miss the old college days and want some of that type of food and experience then this is your place. Always overly crowded and can barely hear yourself think let alone carry on a conversation. tables very close together. all in all good food for a good value.
