Great birthday choice

Went here after wine tasting in the area, by recommendation from Al at the singing winemaker winery. Friendly staff, and excellent menu to choose from. The bread was off the charts good and the meal was superb. Prepare to pay a little more, but it is worth it, which is why I give it 4 stars not 5... read more

We went to Zephyr for New Years Eve. We enjoyed our celebration dinner prior to going to a show in Livermore so had an earlier New Years Eve dinner. They had a nice New Years Eve Menu for the night. The dinner for two came with a bottle of wine and was reasonably priced. We started with pre-dinner drinks; I... More

We visited the Zephyr Grill and bar after watching our Grandson's basketball game. We were looking for a nice casual place and walked in to find a nice cozy bar and took some seats at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and gave us some hints to take advantage of happy hour which was going full blast . The... More

Dinner after a movie at the vine...it was disgusting. We'll never return. The service was horrible even though we sat at the bar. The food was like slopped onto the plates. My husband ordered the meatloaf and it looked like a gelatinous mess that sat under a heat lamp for 15 minutes while the bar tender flirted with a customer.

We were taken here by friends who live locally because we both fancied fish and they had a number of items that suited us on the menu. On a Monday night they were not busy but the service was excellent and the food we all eat was nicely cooked, presented and thoroughly enjoyable. We split shrimp and calamari starters and... More

I had seen an earlier review years ago that was negative and so had not been to Zephyrs. My friend who is a regular took me there recently and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food is. The service was also good. I went again recently with my family (both times I went for lunch), and again, the... More

While we've have been here many times since this restaurant opened, we moved to another state many years ago. So, coming back to Zephyr's was a reservation made with the pragmatic knowledge that in the restaurant business, "things change". We were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant had expanded slightly, that there were still some bar-type seats where you virtually... More

Never heard of a Salmon Wellington and it was excellent. It was also half price bottle of wine night on Wednesday when I visited. Great setting in an inviting little downtown area.

Pro: The atmosphere was great. This was a large restaurant. White table cloths and highly recommended by staff at wineries we visited during the day. The bread was fresh, tasty and came with three different flavors of butter, soft and ready to spread. Con: The prime rib was not at all good. It had no flavor and it was tough.... More

We came here for my son's B-day. We were promptly seated, and the restaurant was about 70% occupied. The waiter was good and attentive; his recommended wine was good so we ended up drinking 2 bottles that night. We had ordered Calamari Fritti, Coconut Shrimp and Seared Rare Tuna for appetizer. They were delicious so we were looking forward to... More
