Great food, beautiful outdoor venue & fun karaoke! Only setting was outdoors, but on a beautiful summer day, it was perfect.

Sadly they were out of broiled oysters, but the burgers were great! The store is also good for forgotten necessities.

The Peg House is a quaint complex across Hwy 101 from Standish Hickey State Park. They have a store with all the camper could need, including beer, wine, food, gifts and books. They also have a walk up window for ordering food. Their burger has been written up, and people have come from all over, even Paris, to have one.... More

Very good hamburgers. Prices are a little more than I like to pay but considering you are in a remote area that is to be expected.

Homemade burgers and slaw, homemade brownies are the best i've ever had. Good coffee too. The general store has everything you could ever need. Even a mini library with good books. I will stop here again and again!

We followed Sunset magazine recommendation and stopped here for lunch on our way up the Oregon Coast. After our GPS just finished telling us that it's a mile down on the left, I saw this police car on the right and I yelled "That's it!" Hubby made a quick turn and we stopped at the Peg House. We ordered a... More

We stopped here on way back from redwoods for bugers n beer. What a neat place. Good food. Salmon burger, hamburger, and reuben was wonderful. Loved the coleslaw. Big area outside with tables everything was fresh nothing deep fried.
