We had both sandwiches and hamburgers which were all very good. Nice lunch stop. Looks like they might have entertainment. Friends went for dinner and enjoyed it.

As you prepare to zoom through Leggett (3 hours from the Bay Area and 1 hour 45 minutes from Eureka), you'll see an outdated police car alongside a grocery store. I am on this road all too much, and my favorite place to stop is The Peg House which consists of a general store, an outside grill and patio, and... More

Classic road stop with a funky store and an covered, outdoor eating area with a garden and a stage. We had the tri tip sandwich, Chicken Sandwich, and the Classic Cheeseburger...all were fantastic! It is a little pricey, as the meals averaged ~ $12 each, but definitely worth a stop if you are staying in the area or passing through.

My son and I were riding our bikes down the Pacific Coast and were camped in Standish Hickey Park. After a long day of biking we went across the street to the Peg House. The staff was incredibly friendly and put our order to the top of the list knowing how hungry we were and poured us a few craft... More

Great food, beautiful outdoor venue & fun karaoke! Only setting was outdoors, but on a beautiful summer day, it was perfect.

Sadly they were out of broiled oysters, but the burgers were great! The store is also good for forgotten necessities.

The food was very good and if im not mistaken the beef is free range grass fed. They also have great beers on tap if your thirsty and there is also a convenient store next to it!!

The Peg House is a quaint complex across Hwy 101 from Standish Hickey State Park. They have a store with all the camper could need, including beer, wine, food, gifts and books. They also have a walk up window for ordering food. Their burger has been written up, and people have come from all over, even Paris, to have one.... More

Very good hamburgers. Prices are a little more than I like to pay but considering you are in a remote area that is to be expected.

We often are traveling up or down the 101 in this area. And surprize we are usually hungry around the Peg House! Burgers, burritos, sandwiches, really fresh green salads, it's all home made and very good.. Also great big brownies (we usually have to get two!) and good coffee..The owners are so nice and we have become friends.. Yes, the... More
