The Bomb

Had burger with slaw, it was a pretty good burger. Also tried BBQ'd oysters for the first time, they were Da' Bomb!!!

The only place to go in Leggett, which worried us, but it was very good. Limited take-out only menu with very good homemade sandwiches, cold beer & even deviled eggs. We ate on their patio, but had to compete with mosquitos, even in May. Great little store with friendly helpful owners. I'd definitely go back!

Good food. Selection is not huge but the food is hearty and good. The nearby Taber trail is a great little hike.

This was such a pleasant experience while travelling home from Ft Bragg CA to Brookings OR. We were hungry and on a whim just stopped at the Peg House. We got our burger and went outside to eat it at a picnic table. The burger was so good I hated this experience to end. Great flavor and so nice and... More

We stopped here on our way back from San Francisco. We had heard a lot about the place. We ordered their tri-tip sandwiches which were $13.00 ea. We got them to go so we could eat them a little later for dinner. I was very surprised that they charged so much for their sandwiches, since we are used to paying... More

Stopped for burgers based on the other reviews and we were not disappointed. Enjoyed talking with the locals while we waited. Would recommend without reservation.

We stopped here as a break on the drive to Eureka to see the Redwoods. It is probably one of the more interesting places I have been. You can get a decent burger along with oil for the car, bottle of wine, Chinese checkers for the kids and a book to read. I guess when you are in the middle... More

My husband and I stopped to eat here on our way back to San Francisco after a few days exploring the redwoods parks and northern cal. We were starving and were having a hard time finding anywhere to eat. I'm so glad we found this place! I had a chicken sandwich and my husband got a burger. Both were excellent... More

Since its the only eatery in town it could be an overpriced dive with disgusting food. Instead, it's exactly the opposite. The menu of sandwiches and salads is simple but the freshness and quality show that somebody back in the kitchen really cares. The seating is picnic tables outdoors. There is a stage for performances. A handful of locals are... More
