We love this restaurant and try to visit it every year. The menu is simple gourmet and you need to plan on $50 person. This year we took 19 people. Everyone was happy with their selection and wine menu, but the service was slow and irregular. Some people were served way before others…..it might have been the size of the... More

Pretty cool to overlook Mono Lake while eating dinner. Nice menu, prices what you would expect. My server was really nice, but it was clear that it was the end of the day. Although the sign out front said open until 9:00, when I arrived at 8:20 I was immediately informed that the kitchen would be closing at 8:30. I... More

We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and wanted to pass on the great tip. The Inn was a great find. Fine dining in Lee Vining. We had BBQ wild boar ribs and lamb chops, both done to perfection. Nice, reasonably priced wine selection to go with the meal. If we lived nearby, we would dine here every week. Very... More

We returned to the Mono Inn again this year on the Fourth of July weekend--the 5th-- and were treated to an incredible view and fine dinner. My son and his fiancé and friends joined us. All of us enjoyed ourselves immensely. The view and ambiance are the best! We did not want to leave our table on the deck when... More

This place gives you a peaceful location to park and have a quiet moment to relax. It has interesting views and the outside surrounding are fantastic.

The owners might know wines. The wine list is extensive. We weren't looking for wine; we were looking for a good meal. Unfortunately, the food is just ok and overpriced. Service isn't very professional or friendly. Overall experience was far from excellent.

Off the beaten path but worth every mile logged. Brothers, Chris & Jim craft creative meals and boutique wines. Don't be shy to ask for food suggestions and definitely be open to trying an unrecognized wine. During the slow season the brothers travel to Napa to sample and buy lessor known wines. Entrées include as much local fare as possible.... More

The food was really special- tasty and creative. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, you have a lake view and the service is great. Outside there was live music, which I liked (although it was very cold this night).

We were happy to be here before Tioga Pass opened, so even without a reservation we got a table right behind the big windows, with a breathtaking sight of Mono Lake at sunset. The service was very kind and helpful, the choice on the menu nice and the food just delicious. Homemade pasta, tasty fresh vegetables, good beef, sauces cooked... More

North out of Lee Vining, on the RHS is this fairly modest, unflash, Eaterie with a fairly expansive view of the Lake (Mono). We were one of probably 5/6 tables out of 12-15, and there was a Country & Western Singer (with guitar) entertaining. Simple Menu and Wine List was all that was required by us that night and we...
