Definitely the gem in the town. The ice cream was great...kids loved it. Food was good too..surprised us, but it really was. The guacamole burger was delish.

We have stopped here for their ice cream cone (nick named here Mono Cone) when in the Lee Vining area. Its enjoyable afternoon treat after a day of sightseing, hiking, fishing, etc. Its not a 5 star as the Jolly Kone in Bridgeport is better, but if not driving as far as Bridgeport (another hour plus away) ..... Mono Cone... More

Old school frosty place. My son and I each had a shake and were in HEAVEN! My kid's peach shake actually had pieces of real peach in it, and was refreshing. I had a white mocha shake and it was just what I needed to pep me up for our further adventures around Mono Lake. Oh, plus we got a... More

I had a BBQ burger here. It was a great burger. Also had a chocolate shake, which was also great. Wait for food was what you would expect for a sit down restaurant, however the food is made fresh and they were really busy.

Customer service was a little gruff but not too rude. The food was surprisingly good. We tried a lot of stuff, guacamole burger and chicken burger very good, fried mushrooms, chicken nuggets and fries and taquitos. The ice cream cones dipped in chocolate, it was enjoyed by all. If you are in the area, stop by.

We always make a stop at this place when driving thru Lee Vining. The soft serve ice cream is a refreshing break from the road trip. My Dad and I stopped by on 6/8/14 while heading up to Bridgeport for the day. I always get the large half and half cone dipped in chocolate. Make sure you ask for extra... More

Stopped here on the way to Lake Tahoe. Adorable, little place with sitting out front and in the rear. The soft serve ice cream is superb! The vanilla milkshake was thick and delicious. We had the chicken finger and fries, which had 3 large pieces of boneless chicken and a mound of fries. Both were hot and fresh and served... More

We didn't try the food, but it was flying out of the kitchen too, BUT on the way up 395 we found this cute stop by accident. We were pumping gas across the street and knew it would be a long time before our next stop, so we decided to try it out. Our diet had been non dairy for... More

This is a obligatory stop on Highway 395. The best hamburgers and milk shakes between LA and Carson City. Homey environment and friendly service. Great source of local information. If you feel adventurous, try the buttermilk milk shake.

Good sizes and hits the spot! Old fashioned take out place right on Hwy 395. Nice stop when visiting Mono Lake.
